True, but party platforms and candidate policies do matter. The constant focus on Biden's age and abilities by the media is taking attention away from what's really on the line in this election as far as both men's policies are concerned. No one will be talking about Biden's age if another four years of Trump produces a national abortion ban, a supreme court stacked with more extreme justices and a radically reshaped government meant to please his rabid conservative base, all while subverting democracy and rights we assumed were cemented and couldn't be taken away.
