Widow of John, dies at the age of 73.
I read an article about her death on Saturday and they made her sound like she was responsible for John having talent. It was so ridiculous and elevated her to this status that no one who remembers how it was back then would buy. She was basically a professional widow with no skills of her own.

True professional widows never remarry.

She actually did remarry (which I did not know until her obit), hence the Pisano, but they divorced.

Anyone who was around back when Belushi was in his heyday, and anyone who read Bob Woodward’s book about him, Wired, was aware that there was hardly any mention of Judy when John was debauching all over Hollywood, New York, and Chicago. Wisely, she kept away from that lifestyle seemingly, but anyone with an ounce of sense would wonder why she stayed with him. It appeared they almost lived separate lives.

Weirdly, she used her married name (Jacklin) while Belushi was alive, they took the name Belushi after he died.
Professional widow, indeed.

Was he a pussyhound during his final years of debauchery?

Trivia: The song Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot is about Cathy Smith who gave Belushi his fatal injection, She died at age 73, same age as Belushi’s widow,
