I remember in the mid 90’s seeing him walking on the upper west side (NYC) in a full length fur coat walking down the street like his was Linda Evangelista. I was in stitches laughing my ass off! The forecast was bitchy!

Does anyone remember Bill Evans, former meteorologist for WABC 7? I think he resented Sam's popularity and his meteoric rise at the station because one day, on air, he explained to one of the anchors that he was a meteorologist while Sam was a "weather anchor." Meaning he studied weather while Sam smiled and pointed at the map. I remember it to this day because he was being rather bitchy for a straight guy.
