200k subscribers in 3 months is quite impressive I think. But he needs to be strategic. Just telling us about the animals on his farm may not be appealing enough in the long run. I wouldn't mind if he branched out to show us more about Namibia, the wild life and the city life. Namibia is a fascinating country and he certainly would make a great ambassador with that channel.

I discovered his YT videos a few days ago - I was curious and watched several. He is quite photogenic and I love his dialect. Beyond that, his love for the animals treating all of them with kindness and compassion is commendable. For those into feet, he is always wearing flip flops and appears to have really nice feet and hands! Cindy the baboon is really sweet and the other critters are interesting although I find the wart hogs repulsive. Whether he is 'baiting' viewers based on his appearance remains to be seen, but considering that most of the human population is considered ordinary looking, it's nice to linger on someone who is very easy on the eyes.

R30 - Yes, they have a very kind disposition (at least Ruben's do) but they look kinda unpleasant compared to his other charges. Now, if Ruben looked like a Wart Hog then I doubt he'd have over 200K subscribers. His interaction with the animals is a wonderful trait to have. OP, he's clearly pandering. Are you even aware that African countries have almost no white people in them, with the exception of South Africa? The entire country of Namibia has fewer people than any given top-20 US metro area, and it's one of the most sparsely populated countries on Earth. There is nothing whatsoever that's "exotic" about running a farm in a remote stretch of Africa (and in the middle of their winter, no less).

Namibia is far more German and Afrikaner in culture than it is British.

I’ve been there twice, most recently in April and it’s a spectacularly beautiful country and a fantastic and emerging tourist destination. Only drawback is that it getting around can require a lot of driving on gravel roads to get from place to place, but that’s also part of the adventure in my opinion. If you want to spend more money you can get flights to save time too.
