Peter Coyote is such a uniquely attractive person

He is very interesting, there is nothing on Wikipedia about his personal life, so I don’t know if he’s gay. His voice is heavenly and he scares the klan grannies. Does anyone on DL know more about him?

I read his memoir ("Sleeping Where I Fall," which isn't great) and he's definitely not gay. He was very sexy and had a strong screen presence even in small roles. His performance as Oscar in "Bitter Moon" is my favorite of the ones I've seen: frenzied and darkly funny, worth a dozen Oscars if they were worth anything. He's been into Zen for decades and eventually was ordained as a Zen priest.

He's married. Google "Stephanie Coyote."

^ Oops. He *was* married.

I know him from (1) commercials (voice) and (2) Erin Brokovich - where the he's an attorney at the same firm as the woman who inexplicably sets Julia Roberts off for looking through her files and suggesting that there's gaps in the info.

He's 82. OP posted an ancient photo.

I once saw him trying to get two young women's attention one afternoon at a midtown east bar called Hemingway's back in the late 80s. They hadn't a clue as to who he was, and remained uninterested.
