I am on Ozempic for diabetes and I lost forty pounds quickly, but I have since regained every single pound while still on Ozempic. I have no idea why it stopped working. r57, haven't you kept up on the research regarding Ozempic? They found that after a certain amount of time you will plateau and in some cases, gain the weight back. Taking a drug to lose weight only works if you are also being mindful of your eating habits and eating less. It's not a free pass to continue eating as you were with zero consequences.

This is why I'm against this shit for long term weight loss. You completely fuck up your body and metabolism. If nothing changes, nothing changes.

I’m glad these drugs are available for people who really need them.

But is this going to be the same thing as weight loss surgery? Stomach stapling? Putting a rubber band around the stomach or whatever the hell that was about? I’ve known several people who’ve had procedures like that and everyone of them has gained the weight back.

One guy I used to play cards with—a terrific guy who was morbidly obese, had some type of weight loss surgery and lost a lot of weight but he ate thru the pain that resulted from overeating. It was heartbreaking. He wound up dropping dead of a heart attack and had gained back all the weight before he died.
