How random.

Will Goran Visnic reprising his role as a zombie?

by Anonymousreply 1June 10, 2024 7:39 PM

^BE reprising

by Anonymousreply 2June 10, 2024 7:49 PM

Too bad neither of them have their original faces.

by Anonymousreply 3June 10, 2024 8:15 PM

R3. Yeah. Sad.

by Anonymousreply 4June 10, 2024 8:16 PM

I loved that movie

by Anonymousreply 5June 10, 2024 8:45 PM

Best movie kitchen, maybe ever. It, and the house, were a set.

by Anonymousreply 6June 11, 2024 7:37 PM

The wig budget will be off the chain.

by Anonymousreply 7June 11, 2024 7:44 PM

Who’s the one on the right?

by Anonymousreply 8June 11, 2024 7:47 PM

Sandra and Nicole were both at the height of their beauty in this movie.

Will Evan Rachel Wood return as Sandra’s kid?

by Anonymousreply 9June 12, 2024 5:15 AM

How about Aiden Quinn? Is he still handsome? I bet they kill him off and give Sandy a younger, hotter guy.

by Anonymousreply 10June 12, 2024 5:24 AM

Not neccesary. No matter how big the budget it will bomb. They both look almost as bad as Stockard (she’s more hideous than Margaret Hamilton ever was) why bother.

by Anonymousreply 11June 12, 2024 5:41 AM

Maybe a reunion of the Mark Feuerstein character. He was cute with the beard but hasn’t been attractive since with eye surgery.

by Anonymousreply 12June 12, 2024 5:45 AM

I thought the original movie was not a success. Why would they make a sequel to a bomb?

by Anonymousreply 13June 12, 2024 5:51 AM

Both officially on board, Susanne Bier to direct!

[quote]Akiva Goldsman, who co-wrote the original, is returning to write the screenplay.

[quote]Bier’s movie After the Wedding received an Oscar nomination for International Film in 2007. She also directed Brothers and Open Hearts. She is the first female director to win a Golden Globe, Emmy and European Film Award, collectively.

The first film is often shown on television and I can't manage to watch it, doesn't hold my interest.

by Anonymousreply 15January 25, 2025 1:41 PM

I am truly sick of Nicole Kidman at this point. Enough! Take a fucking hiatus. I won’t see anything she’s in. And she isn’t that great. Her accent work is horrible.

by Anonymousreply 16January 25, 2025 1:44 PM

I could watch the original endlessly, and have. The perfect little movie, they don't make them like that anymore. And of course, it contains that vibe of the '90s when everything was objectively better.

by Anonymousreply 17January 25, 2025 1:45 PM

What could be said that wasn't covered in the first film?

Which was based on an Alice Hoffman book with a beginning, middle and end.

by Anonymousreply 18January 25, 2025 1:47 PM

That Variety article seems to have been written by a high school intern......a mess.

by Anonymousreply 19January 25, 2025 1:48 PM

I watch and re-watch THE NET, a guilty pleasure and a ridiculous film.

by Anonymousreply 20January 25, 2025 1:51 PM

With that girl, from the bus?

by Anonymousreply 21January 25, 2025 1:57 PM

You do know the original was just an adaptation of the third book in a series of four, right? The last book takes place twenty years later, so this one really should have been made a decade ago already.

by Anonymousreply 22January 25, 2025 1:59 PM

It's happening! Coming out Sept 2026. Just in time for Halloween 2026!

Will Nicole be playing a 35-year-old?

by Anonymousreply 24May 6, 2025 10:59 PM

I do love the oversized hats worn in the first film. Maybe Nicole will take the hint and wear one, too.
