There have been so many instances in the past where polities almost collapsed because they conscripted too many men of working age and there was no one left to work the farms. That's doubly true for Ukraine, whose GDP relies so much on agricultural exports. And no, the women can't replace men in that regard, even though it's not politically correct to say so. They can do certain things, sure, but they can't do the most demanding physical tasks, some of which are shown in these videos. My grandma's farm slowly collapsed that way after her husband died and she couldn't keep it running on her own.
