It's still hilarious to me that no one other than Philip Michael Hall knew about such a thing as an EGOT until the writers of "30 Rock" mocked the idea and everyone took it seriously. I can see the idea of the Acting Triple Crown (i.e. the Oscar, the Emmy, and the Tony, but all for acting only) having meaning, but what the hell does a Grammy have to do with the other three awards?

I’m still surprised by the criticism of The Danish Girl.

It was a decent film with two strong performances about a man with gender dysphoria and his wife who wasn’t best pleased about becoming a lesbian.

It wasn't criticized at the time r23. Only in the more trans woke period did it become a target.

Vikander won an Oscar for it and Redmayne was nominated.
