No more hair dye for him!

by Anonymousreply 108May 23, 2024 7:53 PM

He's more attractive with age.

by Anonymousreply 1May 22, 2024 8:55 PM

I think he’s hotter than ever.

by Anonymousreply 2May 22, 2024 8:57 PM

He looks so fucking good. He's never had any kind of major scandal, has he? He just sort of stays under the radar, was never really a famewhore. I like that about him.

by Anonymousreply 3May 22, 2024 8:58 PM

Matt Damon stole my career

by Anonymousreply 4May 22, 2024 8:59 PM

Looks died to me. Just well done.

by Anonymousreply 5May 22, 2024 9:00 PM

R4 they were never up for the same roles and Dillon was out long before Damon.

by Anonymousreply 6May 22, 2024 9:03 PM

R5 it isnt. It’s in a salt n pepper stage. Not fully gray yet at all.

by Anonymousreply 7May 22, 2024 9:03 PM

I’ve always loved him. Just rewatched The Flamingo Kid, which is so great.

by Anonymousreply 8May 22, 2024 9:06 PM

Looks colored to me, too. But something light.

by Anonymousreply 9May 22, 2024 9:11 PM

That’s not embracing. That’s a talented colorist. As bad as those Ozempic liars.

by Anonymousreply 10May 22, 2024 9:12 PM

Colored with grey highlights to look more natural.

by Anonymousreply 11May 22, 2024 9:12 PM

The “light” is the fucking brown hair turning gray. Jesus. You don’t go all grey overnight. It’s a process.

I swear, I can’t with the idiocy any longer.

by Anonymousreply 12May 22, 2024 9:13 PM

He’s hardly gray.

by Anonymousreply 13May 22, 2024 9:13 PM

R12 is very angry. Sounds like a raging alcoholic.

by Anonymousreply 14May 22, 2024 9:14 PM

SIXTY!

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 15May 22, 2024 9:14 PM

No one is angry. But if you don’t know how going grey works, just shut the fuck up. Why are you trying to argue with those of us who are older? We know it’s a process. You don’t wake up with a full head of grey hair.

by Anonymousreply 16May 22, 2024 9:16 PM

He doesn’t have grey highlights, the colorist covered up some of his grey with light brown lowlights. I’ve been doing hair for 25 years.

by Anonymousreply 18May 22, 2024 9:18 PM

Grey starts at the temples. He’s covered it up.

But it’s very well done.

by Anonymousreply 19May 22, 2024 9:19 PM

He's aging well!

by Anonymousreply 20May 22, 2024 9:26 PM

Dye jobs are easy to spot for those with an eye.

by Anonymousreply 21May 22, 2024 9:28 PM

He may be aging well, but his career isn’t.

by Anonymousreply 22May 22, 2024 9:29 PM

I see a colorist in there, a very talented one. He's also had some face work but subtle. Something around the eyes and jaw. Nice.

by Anonymousreply 23May 22, 2024 9:31 PM

Why does the retard keep replying? Enough.

by Anonymousreply 24May 22, 2024 9:32 PM

R19 provide a source for that.

by Anonymousreply 25May 22, 2024 9:33 PM

Definitely a colorist at work here. Wouldn’t you agree, R24 ?

by Anonymousreply 26May 22, 2024 9:34 PM

He looks so very handsome, naturally so. Tom Cruise is a caricature of his former self.

by Anonymousreply 27May 22, 2024 9:37 PM

But what color are his pubes?

by Anonymousreply 28May 22, 2024 9:37 PM

A new low for DL: a thread derailed by armchair hair burners.

by Anonymousreply 29May 22, 2024 9:37 PM

That's a handsome sixty.

Back when:

I’d fuck him then and I’d fuck him now.

by Anonymousreply 31May 22, 2024 9:45 PM

He may be allowing some grey to show, but he's also covering up plenty of grey too.

by Anonymousreply 32May 22, 2024 10:19 PM

I’d eat his ass.

by Anonymousreply 33May 22, 2024 10:22 PM

“…In men, graying first occurs in the temples and sideburns. It spreads to the vertex and rest of the scalp involving the occiput the last…”

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 34May 22, 2024 10:30 PM

R34 that’s about premature graying. Not the same.

by Anonymousreply 35May 22, 2024 10:36 PM

His hair by the temples is the grayest on his head….

by Anonymousreply 36May 22, 2024 10:36 PM

I bet he’s got a few below the belt.

I’d overlook it.

by Anonymousreply 37May 22, 2024 10:38 PM

Men grey in the temples and sideburns first. If you don’t know that, you just landed on earth.

by Anonymousreply 38May 22, 2024 11:00 PM

R38 I can’t find any science that says that for men who aren’t going grey prematurely. And neither can you.

by Anonymousreply 39May 22, 2024 11:02 PM

Are the hairs on his asshole gray?

by Anonymousreply 40May 22, 2024 11:11 PM

I’ve never understood why men dye their hair. Age looks good on men. Young men tend to be selfish and immature assholes.

by Anonymousreply 41May 22, 2024 11:39 PM

Where I get my hair cut, a lot of guys come in for dye jobs.

Not one is convincing.

by Anonymousreply 42May 23, 2024 12:07 AM

Surprised that his stubble is not grey.

Mine was white before I turned 50.

by Anonymousreply 43May 23, 2024 12:11 AM

He's looking good.

by Anonymousreply 44May 23, 2024 12:12 AM

R4 bahahahaha. Learn how to act. Plus you are a fag.

by Anonymousreply 45May 23, 2024 12:14 AM

Just For Men shampoo-in hair rinse can fix that.

by Anonymousreply 46May 23, 2024 12:19 AM

Major a-hole. Same goes for his not so closeted brother.

by Anonymousreply 47May 23, 2024 12:34 AM

He looks damn good for 60. In fact, he looks a hell of a lot better at 60 than most guys look at 45 - 50!

His look in Wild Things was fucking HOT.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 48May 23, 2024 12:36 AM

R43 I didn’t know you share dna with him

by Anonymousreply 49May 23, 2024 12:36 AM

R48 he was not 60 in Wild Things.

by Anonymousreply 50May 23, 2024 12:37 AM

R50 I didn't say he was, precious.

by Anonymousreply 51May 23, 2024 12:40 AM

That very much is grey. Some of you need your eyes checked. Some men don’t go silver. They go GREY.

by Anonymousreply 52May 23, 2024 12:42 AM

Who gives a fuck about his hair. He’s still hot.

by Anonymousreply 53May 23, 2024 1:06 AM

I'll leave the question of whether the hair is dyed to others. If it is, it's done very tastefully. Unlike what Travolta used to do (see link)? Poor Johnny looked like he'd been dipped scalp first into a vat of black tar.

Also, y'all weren't exaggerating, Matt Dillon looks STUNNING for sixty. Like. Legitimately stunning. Let's be real, a lot of fair skinned men do not age well. I mean, there are MUCH younger A-listers who look terrible by comparison. Look at how old Chris Pine appears compared to Matt Dillon!

by Anonymousreply 54May 23, 2024 1:14 AM

And here's Chris Pine in 2024... Yikes.

by Anonymousreply 55May 23, 2024 1:16 AM

Damn, he looks fabulous.

by Anonymousreply 56May 23, 2024 1:21 AM

I always liked him.

Nobody has gray hair and a totally dark beard - the beard is colored. (But why does he bother? It's easier to shave.) His hair may be natural, I'm 65 and only have a little gray on the sides. It happens.

by Anonymousreply 61May 23, 2024 2:20 AM

His teeth look natural, too. It'd be good if the days of ultra-white teeth or veneers are on the wane.

by Anonymousreply 62May 23, 2024 2:22 AM

He looks fantastic and very handsome - but I wouldn't classify him as a silver fox. His hair and eyebrows are expertly colored. Very good job. In the link you can see how grey his hair is. If he stopped coloring it then he would be a silver fox.

by Anonymousreply 63May 23, 2024 2:45 AM

They used a lighter shade of hair color, jawline is "taunt" for a 60 year hold. He's always been a handsome man.

Very Jacob Elordi-esque in R30.

by Anonymousreply 66May 23, 2024 3:35 AM

He's always been gorgeous but he has truly aged like a fine wine.

by Anonymousreply 67May 23, 2024 3:39 AM

by Anonymousreply 68May 23, 2024 3:39 AM

No R70 - it's colored by a very expensive and very talented colorist.

by Anonymousreply 71May 23, 2024 6:19 AM

Yeah there’s a photo of him from earlier this month and his hair is darker.

It was definitely dyed and highlighted / lifted to give him that natural going gray look.

It’s beautifully done. It’s exactly how men his age should be getting their hair colored.

by Anonymousreply 72May 23, 2024 6:20 AM

You can see here he’s been coloring his hair WAY too dark for his age.

With this new hairstyle, they probably lifted and toned and then used a color comb to add color.

Just my guess. But it’s not natural lol.

Spot on R72. I also was a hairdresser long ago - a colorist.

by Anonymousreply 74May 23, 2024 6:30 AM

[Quote][R12] is very angry. Sounds like a raging alcoholic.

with a bad dye job

by Anonymousreply 75May 23, 2024 6:33 AM

Wow, he looks great. I think I saw him a few years ago and it was obvious he had work done. Looks like the work settled.

by Anonymousreply 76May 23, 2024 6:42 AM

Who is he fucking these days?

by Anonymousreply 77May 23, 2024 6:43 AM

Why did he refuse to do a gay sex in the shower scene with Kevin Bacon in Wild Things?

60 and still hasn't met the right girl?

by Anonymousreply 78May 23, 2024 6:45 AM

I bet he is crazy hot sex, or so I still tell myself, having wanted to have days and days of it with him for the last 40 or so years. Glad he's still worth a hall pass from my husband.

by Anonymousreply 79May 23, 2024 7:20 AM

Look at him here. Sexy fucker!

by Anonymousreply 80May 23, 2024 7:45 AM

I don't know, I am not a hair pro at all. I know many people who had very dark hair both men and woman who go with that light brown as a way to hide the grey without looking fake. But to me, so may people do that it looks just as unnatural. Especially with people in the lime light who you have known all their life with dark hair. Can't a good hair colorist make a dark version with highlights that looks natural?

by Anonymousreply 81May 23, 2024 8:23 AM

He's never had any kind of major scandal, has he?

Wasn't he supposed to be one of Heidi Fleiss' celebrity customers?

by Anonymousreply 82May 23, 2024 8:48 AM

R78 - I thought Kevin Bacon said it was the film's financers who didn't like the idea of the two guys making out.

by Anonymousreply 83May 23, 2024 9:13 AM

There is a hairdresser who specialises in people taking their hair from dyed to grey. He did Andie MacDowell and Frances Fisher and has people flying in from all over the world. It looks superb.

by Anonymousreply 84May 23, 2024 9:15 AM

Why do they call it a silver fox moment when he has some gray in the hair at most?

by Anonymousreply 85May 23, 2024 11:35 AM

Um—he’s still using dye…to a different effect.

by Anonymousreply 86May 23, 2024 11:37 AM

Matt Dillon is younger than me? I don't think so.

R83, that was the determinant finally but according to the article in the link, one of the two actors refused to do the scene, and the other wanted to do it. It clearly states Bacon wanted to do it, so...

For 1998 the made the right move, the film would have sank at the BO if they included it. Homophobia was still sky high. People weren’t ready for that yet.

by Anonymousreply 92May 23, 2024 4:10 PM

R92 Didn't the movie sink, anyway?

by Anonymousreply 93May 23, 2024 4:31 PM

He's 60 now. I heard he was dating in Asia decades ago...you all know what that means...gay!

by Anonymousreply 94May 23, 2024 4:33 PM

Is that hair transplant? Looks very natural

by Anonymousreply 95May 23, 2024 4:34 PM

Plus his stubble is not grey or white, makes him look younger

by Anonymousreply 96May 23, 2024 4:34 PM

Is there a 60 year old man whose stubble is not at least partially gray or white?

He's been dyeing his hair for years, it always has looked terrible, at least this looks pretty good (but it still seems to be at least partly dyed).

by Anonymousreply 97May 23, 2024 4:37 PM

R93 no! It made 70M on a 20M budget, was a huge rental hit and cult classic

by Anonymousreply 98May 23, 2024 4:38 PM

In OP's picture he looks like he has a bridge or implants in front. Especially of you compare those teeth to the ones in the phot where he was a lot younger.

by Anonymousreply 99May 23, 2024 4:41 PM

The gay scene in the movie would have made perfect sense.

But as someone said it was 1998 and it was marketed as a jiggly sex movie.

Today it would have worked.

by Anonymousreply 102May 23, 2024 4:42 PM

In & Out was a hit in 1997, though.

by Anonymousreply 103May 23, 2024 4:45 PM

R102 i remember straight guys going on and on about the tits in the movie. The subtle homoerotic notes were just right. The gay sex full on would have been heavy-handed. Now I think the limit at the time would’ve been that Matt’s character walks up to the the shower and they chat a bit, then a comment is made about “I need to shower too” then Bacon turns the shower back on, stares are exchanged, Bacon stands under the water, Dillion strips off his shirt and makes a move towards the shower with a quick shot implying he’s taking his pants off. End scene.

by Anonymousreply 104May 23, 2024 4:48 PM

I thought he was 38.

by Anonymousreply 105May 23, 2024 5:02 PM

Seems like the stubble (coarse hair) would be hard to dye brown.

by Anonymousreply 106May 23, 2024 5:44 PM

It can be dyed. My friend is a hairdresser and he does it all the time for his clients

by Anonymousreply 107May 23, 2024 7:43 PM

R106 Google "how to dye stubble".
