Fuck these people.
Sharon Stone, Stephen Fry and Liam Neeson have called for Kevin Spacey to be allowed to return to acting.

The celebrity support was discussed here.
Trevor Nunn wasn't named initially.
Stephen Fry isn't surprising.

Who’s preventing him? Oh, right. The studios that don’t want the headache.

They're free to produce a film and hire Kevin Spacey. There's no law against hiring him, it's just bad business and that's why those three won't do it themselves.

Spacey is 64. He should just retire, come out and then enjoy the rest of his life living honestly. In a few years he can do a cameo or two and that might repair his standing a bit. His acting career is over - his fault.

Poor Sharon hasn’t had any attention in at least a month. I was beginning to get concerned.

Exactly. As I said in the other thread, producers would need to make sure he was chaperoned on set to avoid any complaints of similar behaviour and they'd have to factor Spacey's involvement into audience appeal.

How can you expect to be taken seriously?

“If we can’t bring him back, then how can I be a victim?”

Evidently Nunn met Spacey last year to discuss a way back, in UK theatre.

Stephen Fry supports Spacey?
Takes one to know one.

Since these production companies have yo be insured against stuff like harassment claims, I wonder if they could have insurance issues with hiring a notorious sex pest like Spacey.
There’s also the fact that he’s basically toxic now, acquittals or not. He's talented and personable onscreen but he’s also completely gross.

It was a mess.
Yes, Spacey was great and so was Chablis.
But changing the author in that story to a straight man, and making Clint's soggy dishrag of a daughter the star, was a waste of space that could have been used on any of the fascinating characters from the book.

Spacey was on Chris Cuomo’s show tonight. Did anyone watch?
