Alexander Skarsgard is the lead in new kinky biker queer film, “Pillion”

Harry Melling, who is best known for playing Dudley Dursley in the Wizarding World, is set to become a '24/7 submissive' to Alexander Skarsgård in the upcoming movie Pillion.

Melling starts as Colin in the upcoming movie, who is described as 'a weedy wallflower letting life pass him by',

But his life is well and truly turned upside down when he meets Ray (Skarsgård), the handsome leader of a motorcycle gang, and leaves his suburban life to enter an unknown world of queer, kinky bikers.

On top of that, they are apparently 'taking all sorts of virginities along the way', too.

But as Colin becomes deeply involved in Ray's world of 'rules and mysteries', he begins to question 'whether the life of a 24/7 submissive is for him'. "Has he found his calling, or simply swapped one form of suffocation for another?" the press release says.

I've lost interest in him after he had a child.

by Anonymousreply 1May 9, 2024 4:50 PM

Was it a turkey baster child?

by Anonymousreply 2May 9, 2024 4:52 PM

50 Shades of Gay

by Anonymousreply 3May 9, 2024 5:12 PM

And not a single one of those bikers will be played by a gay or even a queer actor.

by Anonymousreply 4May 9, 2024 5:39 PM

This actually seems interesting. Or at least hot.

by Anonymousreply 5May 10, 2024 9:48 PM

Agreed, R5.

by Anonymousreply 6May 10, 2024 9:53 PM

How do you know this, R4, and why would it matter even if so? It’s called *acting*.

by Anonymousreply 7May 10, 2024 9:56 PM

whatever happened to that Tom Hardy biker movie? I'd join that movie's biker gang over this Eurodork's gang.

by Anonymousreply 8May 10, 2024 9:57 PM

Taking all sorts of virginities? Anal, vaginal, animal, vegetable, mineral? What exactly are we talking about here?

by Anonymousreply 9May 10, 2024 9:59 PM

Has a trailer been released?

by Anonymousreply 10May 10, 2024 10:17 PM

“ Has a trailer been released?”, he wrote with one hand.

by Anonymousreply 11May 10, 2024 10:21 PM

R10 they haven’t even filmed it yet

by Anonymousreply 12May 10, 2024 10:25 PM

Harry Mellling is a great actor: The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, The Tragedy of Macbeth, The Devil All the Time, etc; but boy, is he ugly.

by Anonymousreply 13May 10, 2024 10:25 PM

R8 The Bikeriders will be released in June.

by Anonymousreply 14May 10, 2024 10:28 PM

Not to break you gentlemen's hearts, but in my experience, whenever there is a motorcycle parked in front of a gay bar, it invariably belongs to a lesbian.

by Anonymousreply 15May 10, 2024 10:38 PM

R13 isn’t that part of the point of him being so submissive to someone so handsome?

by Anonymousreply 16May 10, 2024 10:39 PM

Bitch stole my act.

I mostly know Melling from “The Queen’s Gambit” as the chess wiz crushing on Anya Taylor-Joy. As such he had a certain nerdy sexual intensity.

It’ll be good casting if he has a great ass and we can watch Alex spanking and fucking him.

Damn, I'm old! I forgot about the gay men's BDSM clubs they called MCs. Of course, as far as I could tell, they didn't actually ride motorcycles (PhillyWhore, could you enlighten me about that?), but they wore leather vests and chaps to look the part.

Back in the 'burg, it was the Pennsmen, and I just now looked up the Philadelphia MC, which I'd never heard of before. They meet at the Bike Stop in Philly (of course). And the Shipmates in Baltimore is another men's BDSM club that I heard of years ago, but I don't think they call themselves a motorcycle club or (pretend to) ride motorcycles.

AFAIK, these BDSM "motorcycle club" guys don't actually ride. Hopefully, if I'm wrong, somebody can post a link here and straighten me out (so to speak).

I posted a link to the Pennsmen just for fun.

I’ve read about all male, all gay motorcycle clubs out of California in the 1950s, supposedly partly inspired by (and no doubt aroused by) the movie “The Wild One.” S&M was very much on the program between a lot of the couples.

by Anonymousreply 20May 11, 2024 3:08 AM

The film got an 8 minute standing ovation at Cannes.

[quote]IndieWire was particularly effusive, stating: “Harry Lighton's first feature outdoes Babygirl in its graphic and psychologically complex portrayal of an aloof leather-clad biker and his devoted submissive.”

Babygirl crawled so Pillion could run?

by Anonymousreply 22May 19, 2025 6:12 PM

Henry Melling is a great actor. And so much more than Harry Potter's cousin on screen and the grandson of The Second Doctor from Doctor Who in real life.

by Anonymousreply 23May 19, 2025 6:28 PM

Shit

*Harry Melling

by Anonymousreply 24May 19, 2025 6:29 PM

Is it a musical?

by Anonymousreply 25May 19, 2025 6:38 PM

[quote] I've lost interest in him after he had a child.

That won't change the fact he's still a closet case.

by Anonymousreply 26May 19, 2025 6:41 PM

It sounds depressing, but I'll still watch it.

by Anonymousreply 27May 19, 2025 6:46 PM

Jesus Skarsgard is ageless. Still gorgeous.

by Anonymousreply 28May 19, 2025 6:48 PM

I wish Kittycat Connor were playing the sub.

by Anonymousreply 29May 19, 2025 7:11 PM

Looks promising. All of the external critics' reviews linked in IMDb so far are four stars.

His dad, Stellan, is a far more interesting actor. Stellan was fantastic in "Andor."

by Anonymousreply 31May 19, 2025 7:52 PM

r30 But do they kith?

by Anonymousreply 32May 19, 2025 8:07 PM

I'm sure his sons will be more interesting actors when they're his age. That tends to come with mileage, both in career and in life in general.

by Anonymousreply 33May 19, 2025 8:09 PM

The source novel by Adam Mars-Jones (entitled "Box Hill") is a good, sexy read.

by Anonymousreply 34May 19, 2025 8:56 PM

I am so tired of the breeders doing these movies where they pretend to be gay with "graphic" sex scenes. It's like if someone did blackface for blaxploitation films.

by Anonymousreply 35May 19, 2025 8:56 PM

Is it OK if they’re just pretending to be straight?

by Anonymousreply 36May 19, 2025 9:29 PM

He's hot but Bill is my sexual fantasy especially if he doesn't wind up looking like Steve Buscemi later in life.

by Anonymousreply 37May 19, 2025 9:59 PM

Melling also played a great Edgar Allan Poe in The Pale Blue Eye.

by Anonymousreply 38May 20, 2025 2:42 AM

R4 "And not a single one of those bikers will be played by a gay or even a queer actor."

Apart from the leading man, that is.

by Anonymousreply 39May 20, 2025 8:57 AM

R1 The younger one has two or three. I was kinda shocked.

by Anonymousreply 40May 20, 2025 11:11 AM

Is Skarsgard still friends/lovers with that southern guy?

by Anonymousreply 41May 20, 2025 11:35 AM

R14 Is it OK if they’re just pretending to be straight?

You betccha!

by Anonymousreply 42May 20, 2025 11:57 AM

r36 The problem is that gay actors aren't offered those opportunities, while straight actors are provided opportunities for both AND praised for it. Being gay remains a barrier in casting, and with the current anti-gay sentiment right now, that will probably increase over the next few years. I don't want to see a straight person in a gay role, because other than those roles, gay actors will have nothing.

by Anonymousreply 43May 21, 2025 8:24 PM

R43 Preach.

Did the sub in training have to look like Margaret Hamilton?

by Anonymousreply 45May 22, 2025 12:44 AM

R45 its the new queerbait vogue . Pair up a hawt guy with a fug. The gay fugs will by tickets and fantasize and the fraus won't feel threatened . Winning formula for Saltburn.

How does Skarsgard identify in real life?

by Anonymousreply 48May 23, 2025 3:36 AM

R48 I mean I don’t think he’s ever said but he was on Colbert last week talking about making out with a “Viggo Mortenson lookalike” and he brought that up a couple times, saying he makes out with guys when he’s drunk. Now he COULD be queerbaiting for the movie because he _was_ there to promote it. But he does make out with men when drunk according to other articles that predate this PR round. Plus I think his relationship with the mother of his child is fairly lassaiz-faire. They don’t live together and actually never even gave any indication in the American press of being together. He takes Whatshisguts from 30Rock as his plus-one to industry events in the States.

by Anonymousreply 49May 23, 2025 3:46 AM

Loved him in Generation Kill. He was gorgeous and manly.
