These were high exposure roles that should have been given to a gay actor because what other roles are up and coming gay actors going to get in which they do not have to be closeted? Drew Tarver of The Other Two got his first big break in the Greta Gerwig pilot for How I Met Your Father as her gay best friend. He got cast in the role because he was promoted through a diversity showcase in which he was submitted as an LGBT actor. But, Tarver had a girlfriend at the time. Tarver had a girlfriend when he was in The Other Two. But, Tarver identifies as bisexual. Bisexuals are fine. Be bisexual. It’s a beautiful thing.
