Meet the fresh face of Monaco: As Prince Albert celebrates his 66th birthday, Alexandre Grimaldi, his eldest son, reflects on his royal roots, growing up in Knightsbridge and going public in his first solo interview, exclusively with Tatler
I'm just gonna say it – he's a bit tan for European royalty, no? What happened there?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 1, 2024 1:02 PM |
Mess.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 1, 2024 1:09 PM |
How many bastard children doesn’t Albert have now?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 1, 2024 1:09 PM |
Sexy guy.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 1, 2024 1:12 PM |
He's a handsome kid; lucky he takes after his mother & not his doughy father. You could do worse for the new face of Monaco, but it's hard to imagine the sharp-elbowed Caroline will allow that
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 1, 2024 1:35 PM |
Well I guess we finally know where Michael Jacksons' stage wardrobe went.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 1, 2024 1:40 PM |
Beautiful young man
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 1, 2024 1:43 PM |
Is he heir to the throne?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 1, 2024 1:43 PM |
Beautiful mixed race guy, usually they get like Zendaya and Obama.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 1, 2024 1:45 PM |
R8 No, children born out of wedlock can't suceed the throne. His little half brother is the heir.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 1, 2024 1:53 PM |
He seems like a nice young man born into incredible privelege. So much more class than we usually see from young American celebrities.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 1, 2024 1:57 PM |
He is very good looking. I'm not a fan of the hair, but that's the way the kids are wearing it these days. He says that his father is his hero, so I guess Albert was involved in the kid's life.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 1, 2024 2:04 PM |
Ooh, he’s fancy. He’d fit right in on the Interview with the Vampire show.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 1, 2024 2:06 PM |
Attractive guy, but that ridiculous wardrobe in the photo shoot isn't doing him any favors.
Albert has two out-of-wedlock children that we know of, has good relations with both of them and supports them. In past years he's been seen out more publicly with them as well - public events like the Rose Ball, personal photos, showing up on their social media. There was a lovely photo of him with all four of his children not too long ago, which was a first.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 1, 2024 2:15 PM |
Well young Americans are actually no different from any others, especially those slag British royalty that get their toes sucked.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 1, 2024 2:22 PM |
R15, that’s a hideous photo.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 1, 2024 2:25 PM |
This family is so cringe.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 1, 2024 2:28 PM |
The Grimaldi tribe is considered unrelated trailer park trash by European royals.
And Monaco is nothing more than a money laundering scheme. It's just a lesser Las Vegas but with better clothes and hookers.
Grace spent most of her time drinking in Paris for a reason.

[quote]The Grimaldi tribe is considered unrelated trailer park trash by European royals.
Name one European royal family that is not one step removed from trailer trash.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 1, 2024 2:51 PM |
Gurl, please.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 1, 2024 2:53 PM |
R8 R10 Prince Rainier III (Prince Albert II's father) was born to Princess Charlotte who was the illegitimate daughter of Louis II. She was adopted by her grandfather, Prince Albert I, so there would be a legitimate aire. Princess Charlotte ceded the throne to her son when her bio-Dad/adoptive brother, Louis II died. Monaco got rid of the provision to adopt like that once Prince Rainier III realized he had a potential Black aire to the Monegasque throne opting for it to pass to Caroline and her eldest son. Albert ended up marrying and having twins.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 1, 2024 4:38 PM |
R8, No. He's a princely bastard.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 1, 2024 4:57 PM |
R22, "legitimate aire" 🤪
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 1, 2024 5:02 PM |
R24 Alexandre could have been "legitimized" by Prince Rainier adopting him just as his own illegitimate mother was adopted by her grandfather. Alexandre was about 3 years old when Rainier died and I'm sure he was well aware his grandson's existence.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 1, 2024 5:10 PM |
Why has no one yet introduced me to this charming young man?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 1, 2024 5:18 PM |
R15, he looks like Brittny Griner being busted for cannabis oil at the airport. Looking at the two older kids, Albert wasn't very discerning when it came to his choice of conquests.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 1, 2024 5:20 PM |
R22, "aire" 😂
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 1, 2024 8:23 PM |
Has anyone asked me how I'm feeling?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 1, 2024 8:31 PM |
Are the other three bastards too?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 1, 2024 8:36 PM |
No, R30, the two youngest are legitimate—how weird is that?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 1, 2024 8:43 PM |
[quote]Albert wasn't very discerning when it came to his choice of conquests.
Hold my circus beer.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 1, 2024 8:49 PM |
Those Grimaldi /Kelly genes are like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get. Very handsome young man. Glad he's not cursed with royal titles. Hopefully he has a good life ahead
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 1, 2024 9:07 PM |
That interview in Tattler grew annoying - he sounds like a massive poser and schemer and his virtue-signaling rings inauthentic. Plus, who is he fooling - gurl please, you’re gay.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 1, 2024 9:32 PM |
@r19, "And Monaco is nothing more than a money laundering scheme"
"A sunny place for shady people" - Somerset Maugham
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 1, 2024 9:36 PM |
The Rainier genes were unreliable.
The Kelly genes however.....
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 1, 2024 9:46 PM |
I see so much of Grace in him.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 1, 2024 10:01 PM |
Love the traditional Monaco hairstyle.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 1, 2024 10:03 PM |
He is cute but did they have to put him into this ridiculous white coat?
-D
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 1, 2024 10:06 PM |
Being a bastard, he isn't a royal. In fact if he wasn't a bastard, he'd still not be royal, as the Grimaldis aren't (it's in their titles - they are Serene Highnesses, not Royal Highnesses).
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 1, 2024 10:28 PM |
“ the gentle poise that denotes power”
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 1, 2024 10:41 PM |
Hair to the throne
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 1, 2024 10:41 PM |
“ the gentle poise that denotes power”
Shuffle some of that quote around and you'll get the word 'nepotism'.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 1, 2024 10:42 PM |
For such an obvious gay, Prince Albert sure has a lot of bastard children with women.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 1, 2024 11:03 PM |
Exactly, R41. Albert has been known to correct interviewers who refer to the “Royal family of Monaco” with:
“Princely family, actually”.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 1, 2024 11:12 PM |
R46 They're casino-owning trash who built their cute little "state" on tax evasion and hookers who smoke pink cigarettes. They're the Trumps with better hairstylists.
Fuck 'em!
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 1, 2024 11:15 PM |
As bastard celeb kids go, he's no Joseph Baena.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 1, 2024 11:17 PM |
R47 completely missing the point.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 1, 2024 11:54 PM |
I want his BBC
by Anonymous | reply 50 | May 2, 2024 2:18 AM |
Ah, pretentious youth.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | May 2, 2024 2:25 AM |
He’s definitely speaking to an audience of one in that interview: daddy dearest.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | May 2, 2024 5:10 AM |
R32 Prince Albert had a son with Fantasia Barrino!?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | May 2, 2024 5:41 AM |
Why did a national magazine profile the grandson of Grace Kelly’s former servant? It’s a known fact that coloreds are illiterate and rely on their owners to communicate things to them- just like nature intended.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | May 2, 2024 6:35 AM |
You weren't nearly clever enough to pull it off. I wonder who you were trying to imitate.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | May 2, 2024 6:43 AM |
Alexandre Grimaldi returned to Monaco to attend the victory of Charles Leclerc at the Grand Prix
by Anonymous | reply 56 | June 4, 2024 8:32 AM |
Is he 43 percent Nigerian?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | June 5, 2024 12:29 AM |
He sure is haughty for a BASTARD.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | June 5, 2024 2:47 AM |
Well, being a bastard clearly isn't what it used to be. Aside from his color & his striking (if fey) good looks, there doesn't seem to be much remarkable about the guy. Not that the bar is exactly high in Monaco & Fat Albert is his father, but he doesn't really seem charismatic or interesting enough to the face of a "new" royal in a changing Europe
by Anonymous | reply 59 | June 5, 2024 10:16 AM |
He’s gay, right?
by Anonymous | reply 60 | June 5, 2024 11:16 AM |
r60, I KNOW you ain't talkin about me!🤨
by Anonymous | reply 61 | June 5, 2024 1:35 PM |
Has he no shame? He's a bastard.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | June 20, 2024 10:11 AM |
Better hope it’s true that male pattern baldness runs through the mother’s side of the family
by Anonymous | reply 64 | June 20, 2024 10:41 AM |
Left side of the bed child. Zero chance of being "official."
by Anonymous | reply 65 | June 20, 2024 10:42 AM |
Profoundly uninteresting, privileged, untalented, will never achieve anything. Thanks, Tattler, for letting us know that he feels he’s “outgrown” London, that Naomi Campbell has been really nice to him, and that Django Unchained is a favourite film.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | June 20, 2024 10:45 AM |
Such big lips for such a tiny head.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | June 20, 2024 10:49 AM |
[quote]he feels he’s “outgrown” London
When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life!
by Anonymous | reply 68 | June 20, 2024 10:52 AM |
I think he'd look a lot cooler if he got rid of those silly braids and just wore his hair natural 🤔
by Anonymous | reply 69 | June 20, 2024 11:57 AM |
He's following in his paternal family's long tradition of trashiness.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | June 20, 2024 12:07 PM |
