Katy O’Brian and Kristen Stewart in Love Lies Bleeding (2024)

Katy was awesome in this movie, charisma coming out of her ass. As for Stewart, there were a couple of instances where I couldn't believe they went with the take they did. She was serviceable, at best. That one line delivery where she's in her truck following Katy who's waking away was laughable. Was the director too embarrassed to ask for another take? I can't believe the critics who are praising her performance in this.

The sex was hot. Loved the fisting scene.

I thought the sex scenes were awkward and gratuitous, but I liked the movie. It was sort of Tarantino-lite.

A late 80s lesbian noir thriller. It looked amazing on the big screen and the sound was amazing.

Stewart played against type with a sullen angst character and O'Brien was good too. David Franco's mullet added to the horror and what the fuck did they do to Anna Baryshnikov's teeth? Were they so decayed from all that clit sucking?

The only thing I didn't enjoy was the soundtrack and should have had much more lesbian friendly pop.
