For a very brief period of time I was a friend of a friend on Facebook. The chain went through a guy on her team and Facebook was so new that there was very little filtering of what was posted. It was very obvious to me that they were all amazed at her popularity and that they didn't expect it to last so they were both very hedonistic and mocking of the success. She came across as a total nerd who was figuring out how to invent and run with this fake character she was crafting.

Then it all got clamped down and most of them left FB altogether. I lost my chain of connection. But after watching her live performance singing Firework at the Victoria Secret TV launch, I figured I it was perhaps a good thing.

She has lost a lot of weight and the red ribbons and bulky boots do a good job of distracting. Even though she doesn’t look great, she is successfully conveying the impression that she has the body to pull off a nearly naked look. Which is not really true. Even with the weight loss, she had a mom at the pool bod, albeit with a good rack. So I actually think it’s a huge win, in terms of her image.

Well, at least she still has more money than God and has had a child with the ultra-wealthy Orlando Bloom, so she is set for life.
