Who are some celebrities who's nice guy/girl image may not be deserved? As an example, I've heard rumors that beloved nerd princess Felicia Day aka the female Chris Hardwick might be a bit of a nasty bitch.
Celebrities Everyone Thinks Are Nice, But Might Actually Be Jerks.

Olivia Colman.
Tom Hanks.
Julia Roberts.

Timmy twinky is also rumored to be an STD dispenser.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 27, 2024 7:29 PM |
R3 = Austin Butler, spreading nasty rumors about Timmy.
Jealous bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 27, 2024 7:36 PM |
Everybody can be bitchy at times.
I met Felicia in 2016 and she was perfectly nice.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 27, 2024 7:41 PM |
The rumor I heard was that Felicia pretty much exiled a cohost from her old podcast who dared to question Chris Hardwick's true nature after the ex-girlfriend abuse stuff came out, not only from the show but from their entire mutual friend group.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 27, 2024 7:55 PM |
R4 - Vanessa Hudgens
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 27, 2024 7:59 PM |
That shows Felicia is a loyal person, R6.
I love Felicia Day.
And it turns out that the ALLEGATIONS against Chris Hardwick were FALSE.
So Felicia was in the right.
Now kindly STFU.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | March 27, 2024 8:00 PM |
Nerd king Chris Hardwick certainly fits the bill.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 30, 2024 7:59 PM |
I don't necessarily wish this to be true, but it's hard to believe that Tom Hanks is as nice as he presents himself to be. Even when he's doing his aw-shucks routine in interviews there's a hardness in his eyes that suggests he has a significant dark side.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | March 30, 2024 8:14 PM |
For some reason, I think that Robin Roberts is a big phony. There is something false about her persona.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 30, 2024 8:30 PM |
CHEE!

Who is Felicia Day?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 30, 2024 8:49 PM |
Julia Roberts owns the thread. Reese "don't you know who I am" Witherspoon is also tops in this category.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | March 30, 2024 8:50 PM |
Julia Roberts doesn't own the thread because she's famously a bitch. Nobody thinks she's nice.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | March 30, 2024 9:30 PM |
No one thinks Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon are nice people, r14
by Anonymous | reply 16 | March 30, 2024 9:33 PM |
R14 here. My bad. True.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 30, 2024 9:37 PM |
Conan O'Brien. I have no doubt he's nice to random people, but he seems to be a bully who knows how to pick his targets - and then employ them on his shows. The behaviour he describes himself is absolutely that of a massive asshole, but he knows how to surround himself with people who won't complain and instead act like it's hilarious.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 30, 2024 9:54 PM |
I think Conan might be nicer than most, just because he himself has had experiences where his comedy heroes turned out to be awful people when he met them in person.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 30, 2024 9:57 PM |
Obviously, James Corden.
Until he was exposed for the monster that he really is.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 30, 2024 9:59 PM |
Tim Allen. I never got the impression that he was an asshole, and I hope he's not because I love that movie *For Richer or Poorer* with Kirstie Alley.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | March 30, 2024 9:59 PM |
John Cena destroyed a few careers during his time as a wrestler to eliminate competition, I doubt he's changed much as an actor.

R13 Google, dumbass
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 30, 2024 10:02 PM |
I wonder about Amy Sedalia because she’s friends with Andy Cohen and SJP. I’d like to think she’s still nice in spite of that.

Rosie and Ellen have been exposed, so they no longer qualify.
Shirley "ship my two year-old to Tokyo" MacLaine.
The B-52's.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 30, 2024 10:05 PM |
I think Rosie is bipolar or something, she does seem genuinely nice until she thinks you've done something to betray her.

Actually, they are openly cunty,, and proud of it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 30, 2024 10:49 PM |
From my own experience and disappointment -- Shirley Jones.
I wonder if Jones suffers from the MTM syndrome wherein she's typecast and closely associated with a sweet, angelic type when she (and no one) really is. That has to be annoying when everyone expects you to be Mrs. Partridge, especially someone with an Oscar and a storied, long professional career.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | March 30, 2024 11:45 PM |
Henry Winkler. I think his nice-guy persona is an act, and he has some dark, disturbing secrets… Erin Moran hinted at it once.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | March 30, 2024 11:53 PM |
That's the problem with portraying yourself as the "nice guy/girl" one moment that betrays the act, and you're toast.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 31, 2024 12:41 AM |
while MTM was quiet about it, both her and Shirley Jones are Republicans.

Joan Cusack. They had a TMZ video of her which was shocking with the level of snotty cunt coming off it. Then I heard she made a comment towards Precious.

Felicia Day was reputedly loved on the set of Supernatural. Her one-off character was made recurring because she was popular with fans and everyone loved working with her.
And we know that not everyone who was on the set of Supernatural is always easy to get along with...
by Anonymous | reply 50 | March 31, 2024 3:32 PM |
99% of the population has no idea that a show called Supernatural ever existed. I would never had heard of it or its two very uninteresting stars if not for the one or two obsessed fans on DL.

Smarmy, charming Mr. Nice Guy and Humanitarian George CIooney.
He preaches to the public about "justice and human rights" while profiting from child slave labor picking coffee beans. He advocated for actors to receive better pay/benefits/working conditions during the strike but never for six-year-olds working six days a week for pennies per day. He has had an ownership stake in the coffee company since 2013 but keeps that secret due the child slave labor issue.
His barrister beard comes from an arms dealing family who supply Hamas. Her uncle is notorious arms dealer Ziad Takieddine. Does Georgie boy know what Hamas does to gay men??? Is The CIooney Foundation a laundry for her uncle's arms dealing money?
Last and not least, he drunkenly and accidently maimed a Lake Como twink in 2013 and then sicced his ruthless Fixers from Sunshine Sachs on the boy's family to strong arm them into silence. Same Sunshine Sachs Fixers Harvey Weinstein used for years to intimidate and silence his victims. Sunshine Sachs is the real reason Georgie and his beard were at the Sussex wedding. Sunshine Sachs was Meghan's PR firm at the time and Georgie owed Sunshine a huge favor. Sunshine cleaned up his mess in Italy, hired him a beard to deflect and saved his career.
Oh and to the sycophants who will be here shortly with their righteous indignation about the Lake Como incident: pound sand! It did happen and the name of the boy was doxxed years ago. CDAN published in 2016 info that had already been circulating since 2013 and well known by Como locals since 2013. CDAN guy just added a couple of red herrings to cover his own ass (there was no gift of jewelry, and the beard didn't clean up the mess, she was hired afterwards). I'll read CIooney for the filth he is at every opportunity. If that so upsets you, then put me on Ignore! Problem solved! No one on a gay forum should be exalting this phony creep.

Links, r52?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | March 31, 2024 7:44 PM |
Pointing to CDAN as proof of your claims is never a good look.
There was also the point during the strikes when Clooney and a few others suggested a "solution" which was nothing of the sort. It would've benefited themselves and the studios but done nothing for regular actors, and exposed how Clooney and these other a-listers apparently didn't know the difference between royalties and residuals.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | March 31, 2024 8:24 PM |
Mary Tyler Moore was apparently very icy, not at all like her Mary Richards character.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 31, 2024 8:54 PM |
Clooney has the Frauen convinced that he is the second coming of Clark Gable. But Clark was not a smug ephebophile creep like George.

Alyson Hannigan.

Erin Moran isn't exactly a trusted source.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | March 31, 2024 11:39 PM |
The fact that Alyson Hannigan dated Twiggy Ramirez was an early sign that she was a bitch in real life.

R23 How so? Did he refuse to job/put someone over? He was never booking at WWE.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | June 25, 2024 7:26 AM |
[quote] "Ron Howard"
I guess anything is possible, but I need a source, R57. I've never heard a bad thing about Ron. I admit don't go looking for it either, because even at his current age, I'd hit it (but only after he apologized for "The Lady In The Water").
I think he is one of the most adorable men in Hollywood. I would be genuinely disappointed to find out otherwise. But proof is proof, if it exists, but I'm not holding out.
Fuck, I wish Ron Howard had realized his one-time plan to produce and act in a porn film in order to use the profit to fund his directing career.
[quote] "Henry Winkler. I think his nice-guy persona is an act, and he has some dark, disturbing secrets… Erin Moran hinted at it once."
I was going to tell this person to get ALL the way outta here with that, but I already have them blocked. With good reason, apprently.
I have not had the pleasure of working with, or even meeting Henry Winkler, but R47 & R59 are right. He is widely known to be one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people in Hollywood, FOR HIS ENTIRE CAREER. Winkler is the real deal. And it's so refreshing.
