Blind Item!- Sydney Sweeney is fighting to get paid the same as Zendaya for Euphoria season 3 after her film success
“ The one named A/A list actress and the alliterate A/A- list actress are fighting about money. Each wants to be paid more than the other. Instead of doing that, how about just canceling the pay cable show because a third season never made sense anyway and don't look anything like high school students.”
Maybe this is what is getting the show canned? Sweeney feels with her recent film successes and new status that she should be getting paid the same as Zendaya. They are never gonna give her as much as Zendaya though.

I don't know if there are contracts involved, but why not just keep the story in high school and recast the whole thing? I don't need to see Z and her goofy faces, Tits McSweeney, or Elordi. Bring in some new blood!

OP Immaculate is on board to make $5.3 million its opening weekend which is mediocre BO at best. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire grossed $45 million in the same time period.

R2 actually that’s a strong box office. That’s NEON’s highest debut ever and the film cost $9 million to make. I read they paid less than $20 million including promotional costs.

Who compares an indie horror like Immaculate to Ghost Busters, a huge studio franchise? R2, you don’t understand shit about Hollywood or movies. It’s very very clear.

After having just come back from watching Sydney Sweeney in Immaculate, I'd be happy never to see her in anything again. She's beyond terrible.

R4 How many people went to see it? It's not a blockbuster no matter the film's cost.

NO ONE SAID IT WAS A BLOCKBUSTER. A film doesn’t need to be a blockbuster to be a hit or successful. I seriously can’t take how retarded you are. If you don’t know about a topic, don’t speak on it until you educate yourself on it. Simple.
Your Marvel rotted brain needs to get off this site already. Muriel has sent you message after message via red tags.

She’s just as popular as Zendaya is these days if not more. She should get paid equally.

She should be paid TWICE as much

No. She isn’t on Zendaya’s level. Let’s not pretend.

R7 Audiences didn't flock to see it. You sound like an angry INCEL. It's only a movie dear

R12 it’s a tiny budget Indie. It made more than it was expected to make.

R13 people have a strange idea of what historic is. Theater owners aren't concerned with how much a film's budget is but with the number of tickets sold.

R15 movie theaters take what they can these days. It was never expected to be some big “blockbuster”. It cost fucking $9 million dollars to make. They barely had a budget. It did well.

R15 yeah, you’re a retard. It’s HISTORIC because it is Neons largest debut ever.

Zendaya's film success is because she's been in Spiderman and Dune films, we shall see how Challengers fares. Zendaya has yet to prove that she is the draw for the audience.

Who ever heard of Neon? Why are INCELS so angry and easily triggered by something so trivial. Immaculates per theater average was $862 on Friday compared to $3.682 for Ghostbusters, $1,309 for Dune II and $1,053 for Kung Fu Panda!

STOP COMPARING INDIES TO LARGE STUDIO FRANCHISES. R20 one of those is not like the others. The fact your Marvel rotted brain can’t tell the difference isn’t shocking.

R19 who gives a fuck. It made her a huge star the way it did Holland etc. That’s like saying “J Law’s success is only because of Hunger Games” or “Chris Hemsworth’s success is only because of Thor”. Regardless, they had success.

Cassie carries Euphoria so she should get paid close to what Zendaya makes

Bottom line R21 how many tickets sold no matter the film's production costs.

R24 Theaters can take what they can get. No one sits and analyzes theaters buddy. It’s about what the movie makes back for the studio, Marvel Rot.

R23 all you do is shit on Sweeney. Look at your posting history. Please. Get a job. Actually, don’t. You will probably be locked up by the end of the year anyway.

R28 I know that the more tickets a film sells the longer it remains in theaters. Kung Fu Panda 4 is selling more tickets per day in its third week than Immaculate sold on any of the 3 days it's been in release.

R28 stop replying to that poster. He keeps comparing a movie like Immaculate to 3 franchise films distributed by the big studios with hundreds of millions of dollars backing them and doesn’t take any of that into account. Dont waste your breath.

Zendaya is the star of Euphoria and should be paid accordingly. She is in many more scenes than anyone else.
Reminds me of Kim Cattrall. No matter how popular you or the character gets, you’re still the costar, both practically and contractually.

For the Pete Repete who thinks they know everything. A film's popularity is measured by the tickets sold not the cost of the film's production.

Zendaya has never had to take her clothes off. Sydney has to whip out her mammaries every other episode. She deserves twice as much as Zendaya - one paycheck for each tit.

R17 Which is not saying all that much as Neon's last release Perfect Days opened on February 7, 2024, and has grossed $3.2M after 47 days in release so I guess Immaculate seems like a success.

The Kung Fu Panda should fight to get the same pay as Sweeney. His weekend gross was $17M vs. Immaculate at $5.4M
