Just saw this commercial on CBS. That's her, isn't it? As well as some other folks you should know!
No.

I thought that was Christina Aguilera.

What a stupid commercial. What is that supposed to be advertising?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | March 24, 2024 10:08 PM |
No, no! The hairdresser with the southern accent!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | March 24, 2024 10:08 PM |
Still no. What lame suggestion.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | March 24, 2024 10:20 PM |
No, but there's that Dan guy. Eugene Levy's son.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | March 24, 2024 10:24 PM |
Patrika Darbo, not Stockard.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | March 24, 2024 10:28 PM |
No that is Patrika Darbo who is old now. She played Suzanne Somers sister on "Step By Step" the first season

Thanks! But it sure looked like an old Stockard Channing to me. Thanks for setting me straight, so to speak,
by Anonymous | reply 9 | March 24, 2024 10:31 PM |
It looked nothing like her, at all. 😵💫
by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 24, 2024 10:36 PM |
That IS Stockard Channing. I saw her recently in Nantucket at Jean-Georges.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | March 24, 2024 10:59 PM |
^ She could still play The Girl Mist Likely To…
The before version.

The woman getting the hairdos is Heidi Gardner from SNL, I think.

No shit

What's-his-name is like a femme version of his father....and who wants that?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 24, 2024 11:23 PM |
I don’t understand anything about this commercial.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 24, 2024 11:47 PM |
Damn, Stockard Channing looks horrible at R12! She actually looks worse than the woman in the commercial!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | March 24, 2024 11:48 PM |
The last time I saw Stockard Channing live, it was on Broadway in IT'S ONLY A PLAY in 2014, and at that point she had had so much plastic surgery done -- and so badly -- that I literally did not recognize her when she came onstage,. And I know several other people who saw the show said the same thing. I have no idea what she looks like now.

Sure you do—just look at the picture⬆️

She was Upper East Side royalty from birth. But she's got the plastic surgery of a New Jersey housewife.
Who did this to her? I haven't seen such butchery since Doris Roberts.

Stock has kept her chin up and tight.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 11, 2024 3:18 AM |
She was recently in JULIA and was pretty much unrecognizable. She looked like an ordinary person who had melted.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 11, 2024 3:25 AM |
[quote]I have no idea what she looks like now.
She had a one episode appearance on Season 2 of Julia. She was very difficult to look at. Think Madame from Waylon Flowers and Madame.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 11, 2024 3:27 AM |
OP, I do see a tiny resemblance around the eyes but the others are correct, that is the fabulous Miss Patrika Darbo.
Stockard looked like this circa 2022 or early 2023, which was probably when this episode of season 2 of "Julia" was filmed.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 11, 2024 3:31 AM |
I love Stockard, but she really overdid the plastic surgery, for sure.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 11, 2024 3:32 AM |
Stockard, Kenny Rogers, and Michael Learned must have found the same butcher. Sad.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 11, 2024 3:34 AM |
Her performance as Ouisa should have won the Oscar.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 11, 2024 3:44 AM |
That is not the great Stockard Channing.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 11, 2024 5:59 AM |
^ Yep, the commercial seems to be a take on Zoolander
