That's a shame. She was a good actress. Didn't get much to do, but she was not a bad addition. None of them are, except the other dearly departed.

She’s booked and busy. It was impossible for her to film 3 series at the same time. She had to ditch one and this was the one she chose to toss away.

R2 she was around a lot on season 1. She had to cut back for season 2 because she was filming both this and The Morning Show season 3 at the same time.

Perhaps she's a good actress but the Nya character was not engaging and the writers didn't have a clue what to do with her.

Both Che and Nya are out. I would imagine we're getting 5 - 7 nonbinary, queer, differently able bodied characters as replacements.

Well one was fired and the other left. Che and Nya’s situations aren’t the same. Their absence gives Lisa more screentime most likely, unless she decides to bow out also.

The writers don't have any idea what to do with Lisa as well.

R13 they don’t know what to do with any of the characters. AJLT is sloppy for every character, especially Miranda and Charlotte. Carrie is the only one who seems to feel like herself.

I won't miss Che or Nya.

Che was just not a character I could root for. I found her way too selfish to be likeable. The others are selfish, too, but to a lesser degree and they have more redeeming qualities.

And Nya... well, I didn't think she was connected enough with the core characters to miss her. One shortcoming of the second season was that everybody pretty much had their independent stories and nobody got much involved in the others' stories. That makes it easier to accept the loss. I hope the next season focuses more on the core characters and intertwines their lives better.

They still have Lisa and Seema.

The writing may improve with two less characters.

She is a good actress on the morning show. I can’t believe IMDB says she’s only 37. Jennifer Aniston being 55, Reese Witherspoon at 48 and Juliana Margulies at 57 seem like peers.

I didn't even know this show was still running. Last I heard it wasn't working without Samantha but obviously I'm not following this story much. If people are leaving they just want to avoid the carnage at the end that's coming.

In the second season, she had several very explicit and very sweaty sex scenes with a hot guy half her age… how does one maintain that braided look without the hair holding in sweat and eventually smelling nasty? I have no idea how that works (not a racist post, just curious). Can anyone explain how long braids like that are maintained/washed without holding a musky odor?

Asshole R23, I did google it and most replies say you should only wash braids like that every 2-3 weeks… I am not a black woman with braids so I don’t know how it works and I was curious if anyone here possibly did.
