I had a hard time envisioning someone as close to a lynching as Pence was wanting to play with fire after being burned. Add Louisiana senator Bill Cassidy to the list of leading republicans providing republicans nationwide the permission slip to not vote for Trump. On Meet the Press yesterday, he pointedly said he would vote for a “republican” in the fall. No talk about supporting the republican nominee.
