The day after the nominations, she publicly stated where’s my invitation to present, not knowing it may take a few weeks before they work out the show details, and invite the presenters. Even though the show did well this year imo in terms of time and entertainment value, it’s still a slog to sit through in person. Dustin Hoffman once said it’s extremely crowded and you have to wait to use the bathrooms, and a far cry from what the public see on television. I could see if she skipped the Oscars as presenter, especially as a winner last year, and went to have a burger, but she didn’t do that. I’m guessing no one cared at all when she took off early.

Why does everyone treat In-n-Out as the eighth wonder of the world every time they come to LA? Almost everyone who flies into LA has to marvel and take photos of the In-n-Out near LAX and post it to their Instagram.

Lots of people, including me, don't think In N Out is that great. Weird that long-time LA dwellers still think it's a big deal. I'm guessing it's because it's regional (vs. McDonald's). My brother has lived in LA for a long time and he took me there for the first time. I didn't want to tell him that I was not impressed.
