A bodybuilder slammed a few “arrogant” spagoers who secretly recorded a nude woman while they were changed in a locker room.
Well-known fitness influencer Joey Swoll said on social media he was “pissed” about the matter, calling out the person behind the camera, as well as her friends, for publicly posting the footage.
The gymgoer is seen changing at Champneys Luxury Health Spa in the UK before the woman panned onto her two friends as they laughed in the sauna, the “perverted” footage posted on March 5 showed.
Swoll, whose real name is Joseph Sergo, blurred the innocent gymgoer in his video as the footage was posted uncensored on the woman’s Instagram story, featuring the caption “even a free show.”
“This video really pisses me off. Pardon my language but what the f–k is wrong with you? How do you not know better than to do this to somebody?” Swoll fires off in an Instagram clip. “I had to cover this poor woman that you were filming completely nude in the locker room at this spa.
“You and your friends sit there arrogantly laughing at her and enjoying this ‘free show’ as you call it – and you even tagged the location of this spa,” he goes on. “Well you’re not gonna be laughing for very long cause I talked to them.”
Champneys Spas is a luxury spa “with leading health and fitness breaks” primarily centered in the UK but has locations around the world.
Swoll took notice of the Instagram location tags of the spa and directly messaged the business on Instagram to condemn the spa guests.
Champneys has since banned the women from their properties and will investigate the disturbing situation, Swoll claimed.
“We are absolutely appalled and so upset by the actions of these individuals. Champneys is a place that prides itself on being somewhere to relax and unwind in a safe and comfortable environment, we do not condone or accept any conduct that puts our guests at risk,” the spa said..
“We have identified the guests, banned them from our properties and reported the incident to the police. Rest assured, we are reviewing our procedures and policies to ensure this does not happen again,” they continued.
Swoll “really hopes [the woman] presses charges” on the malicious bunch for invading her privacy.
“‘You need to do better. Mind your own business,” Swoll said.
Viewers were just as upset about the incident, vouching for Swoll’s take that the women should face criminal charges.
“They should be in jail. Tag them,” some said.
“That’s a straight up FELONY. Haul them off to prison! Where the hell do people get the absolute AUDACITY to do something like this??” another person went off.
“Then wonder why some women are afraid of gyms and public spaces. It’s not always about men. Women are mean in a very different way,” one comment read.
