A story (possibly apocryphal) told about Margaret & Liz: Margaret & the queen were having a meal by candlelight, when Margaret's long hair was set on fire by a candle, the queen said in a very unconcerned tone, "Oh, look, Margo's on fire." A servant rushed over to pat out Margaret's flaming curls, Margaret snarled at him, "How dare you put your hands on me"!

My favourite Margaret stories are the ones involving her family. She once had a blazing row with her mother in the hallway or entrance to some palace or castle. She screamed at her mother “don’t you dare speak to me like that, I am royal by blood unlike you”. This was in front of servants and courtiers. Apparently she used to remind her children that she was the daughter of a king and the sister of a queen.

Oh yeah, royal. That's really saying something. How proud to be related to all that inbred, incest by people who killed and reaped the riches off the enslaved and exploited in the colonies. What a proud lineage to be a part of. Not at all ethically unsound.
