Reagan officials bumping off anyone who dare out their shenanigans.
Anyone watching Netflix’s true crime documentary “The Octopus Murders”?

Looks interesting.

I remember Unsolved Mysteries covering this in the 90s. This is a well-done documentary. One of the few cases that deserves focus.

Don’t know a thing about it but the blond in the pic is very sexy.

I am watching and keep having to push my eyeballs back into my head. This has everything (government, spies, Indians, Iran Contra, presidents) in it. How have we not hears about this before?

R4, it’s been brought up countless times. They even show Janet Reno being question about it before Congress. That being said, it just hasn’t gotten the same treatment in the age of podcasts and documentaries. I’m glad it’s finally getting that treatment. It was insane in the 80s and 90s when this was playing out. It’s also not a short story you can sum up in a minute so that probably kept people from brining it up. There are so many elements to it. The Promis software was revolutionary.

Our government has a lot to answer for; just ask Gary Webb. Oh, that's right you can't, because he committed suicide. Uh huh.

I was like R4. I had no idea what this was about and was stunned at how the initial investigation just kept spiraling and spreading. I think the doc does a good job of trying to get to the bottom of a very complex story. It demands your full attention or you'll be lost by the end of the first episode.

Watching it now and I was not familiar with the case.

Started off good but boy does this thing get convoluted. I’m in episode two and I can’t keep track of what’s going on anymore.

Some of the people involved, especially Robert Booth Nichols and Joe Cuellar put me in mind of how the Air Force deliberately fed disinformation to a UFO researcher named Paul Bennewitz to discredit him and drive him mad.
I don't know what the fuck to make of Michael Riconosciuto. Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out he was a subject of MKUltra.
Really sad to see how many people used Danny.

This was not made well, too confusing. Not enough clarity.

I'm not entirely sure it's possible to have clarity on a story like this.

Bingo, R13!
