Army doctor accused of sexual misconduct by at least 42 male patients

It could be one of the largest abuse scandals in U.S. Army history.

What a creep!

"Doctor, my neck hurts."

"Okay, drop your pants!"

I'm shocked that these grown men fell for it.

by Anonymousreply 1February 23, 2024 8:54 AM

Which one of you bitches is this?!!!!

by Anonymousreply 2February 23, 2024 8:59 AM

Army private: "Doctor, my shoulder hurts!"

Doc: "Let me rub them balls!!! Now shut up!"

by Anonymousreply 3February 23, 2024 9:00 AM

The lawyer is working on the case 'pro bono.'

hehe

by Anonymousreply 4February 23, 2024 9:05 AM

I’m laughing at the tapping feet and the fumbling fingers.

“Why do you have PTSD?”

“Oh, my doctor made me pull my pants down and examined me when I didn’t need to do that!”

“Oh, so it wasn’t from seeing another soldier get ripped apart by shrapnel then.”

“Oh no, that’s nothing. I’ve made a few guys’ heads explode just by shooting then too.”

by Anonymousreply 5February 23, 2024 9:10 AM

Jonathan Vigliotti seemed quite titillated by the story.

by Anonymousreply 6February 23, 2024 9:15 AM

"You just need a bit of skull fucking for that shell shock, corporal. But it needs to be done right here in my office, right now, else it won't work. Trust!"

by Anonymousreply 7February 23, 2024 9:16 AM

We don't want money. Just an apology

by Anonymousreply 8February 23, 2024 9:21 AM

This used to be my favorite porn in college 💀

by Anonymousreply 9February 23, 2024 9:26 AM

What do we know about the doctor? Married?

by Anonymousreply 10February 23, 2024 9:32 AM

Why would you post a video and not post an accompanying article?

by Anonymousreply 11February 23, 2024 9:36 AM

I don’t see the problem here.

by Anonymousreply 12February 23, 2024 10:34 AM

Were they rescue patients OP?

by Anonymousreply 13February 23, 2024 11:00 AM

I need more info. One guy I read about had suffered a back injury and the doctor tested his ankles, legs, and groin area for feeling.

Unless he was sexually inappropriate, that’s what neurologists do to detect nerve damage.

by Anonymousreply 14February 23, 2024 11:22 AM

My idea of a thorough rectal exam.

by Anonymousreply 15February 23, 2024 11:33 AM

[R15] Hell yeah…

by Anonymousreply 16February 23, 2024 11:38 AM

"Bend over there Private!" I know you said you have some neck pain, but this'll make you forget that!

by Anonymousreply 17February 23, 2024 11:39 AM

Sorry R1, I didn't mean to plagiarize almost all you said.

by Anonymousreply 18February 23, 2024 11:43 AM

R14: "One guy I read..." is your source of information? A garden variety pain exam is not going to include a groin inspection.

This guy is a major so he is pretty early in his career, although he's moved around at least once. If he'd been more senior, he would have been better known (pain being relatively specialized as an area) but also would have had seniority that would make it difficult for soldiers to come forward. Accusing a senior officer of anything is a career killer.

by Anonymousreply 19February 23, 2024 11:45 AM

R19, “Major” is not considered a high rank?

by Anonymousreply 20February 23, 2024 12:23 PM

Not for a doctor. The usual progression is up and out. A competent doc who keeps his record clean will retire as a full colonel. A good politician will retire as a Brigadier or "real" general.

by Anonymousreply 21February 23, 2024 12:32 PM

Poor R3, trying to be R1 and failing so miserably.

by Anonymousreply 22February 23, 2024 12:45 PM

If he's been practicing for 10+ years, 42 victims is the tip of the iceberg. He knew he was dealing with a vulnerable population, too: pain management patients often have overlapping mental health concerns, and the Army has a long and storied history of ignoring sexual abuse.

by Anonymousreply 23February 23, 2024 1:07 PM

I...don't see the issue?

by Anonymousreply 24February 23, 2024 1:26 PM

R20

They arrive , as brand new military doctors, with the rank of Captain 03. So maj means they have been promoted once.

It’s a well known fact that an AD Marine Doctor has never once done anything remotely like the. Not once.

by Anonymousreply 25February 23, 2024 1:35 PM

Is Gym Jordan rushing over to defend him and distract investigations into him?

Just curious.

by Anonymousreply 26February 23, 2024 2:04 PM

Something tells me he will get away with this. I think a lot of these guys won't move forward with litigation. Horrible situation.

by Anonymousreply 27February 23, 2024 2:05 PM

R27

This is not an issue as to who will want to legate or charge the doctor. That ship has sailed.

This is now a full on military investigation into serious misconduct by a senior officer and health care provider they will not give a shit if the abused want to see an investigation or court martial under the UCMJ or not.

If it turns out to be what it initially sounds like it is, this guy is burnt toast.

by Anonymousreply 28February 23, 2024 2:34 PM

R28 I understand that, but I believe as this moves forward they will depend on these guys and other victims for their testimony to nail this guy. I have a feeling more and more of these victims will drop out, one by one, until no one is left to have a solid case.

by Anonymousreply 29February 23, 2024 2:59 PM

R29

They will be asked by professionals during an actual criminal investigation what happened. They can refuse to answer, tell the truth, or lie. Trust me while many did not come forward on their own before they will now be answering honestly when asked.

And it sounds like it could be dozens of men. There is no way an aggressive investigation will not be done. Especially after MSU, and OSU, etc.

If the facts are what they sound like this doctor will do federal prison time

by Anonymousreply 30February 23, 2024 3:07 PM

[quote] If the facts are what they sound like this doctor will do federal prison time

I'm not trying to excuse this guy's behavior, but what exactly did he do that warrants prison time?

It sounds like he didn't molest anyone, or suck their dicks, or fuck them (like Nasser did).

At most, it sounds like he just ogled their naked bodies.

Maybe some information was left out of Jonathan Vigliotti's report, but he didn't mention anything about rape or molestation.

by Anonymousreply 31February 23, 2024 3:17 PM

The doc is cute, so I wouldn't have minded.

by Anonymousreply 32February 23, 2024 3:17 PM

I can't wait for the Say Uncle version.

by Anonymousreply 33February 23, 2024 3:36 PM

R31

I hate to prejudge. But it’s “sounds” as if the doctor liked to play with the genitals of his male patients even when such an exam would make absolutely no sense.

Which means if true that he was doing it for his own sexual gratification.

If he did it to dozens as it seems he will not walk on this. He will do time.

by Anonymousreply 34February 23, 2024 3:38 PM

I'm not so sure he will "do time", R34. These plaintiffs don't seem like the brightest bulbs in marquee and their testimony will probably fall apart on the witness stand.

by Anonymousreply 35February 23, 2024 3:43 PM

He got FAT . . .

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 36February 23, 2024 3:47 PM

I was molested.

by Anonymousreply 37February 23, 2024 3:50 PM

R35

If the doctor has a history of touching mens penis when the complaint was a sore elbow and if it happens over and over again with different patients this is going to be treated as a criminal act. And it will be a slam dunk And if so he will, do time as he should, talk about an abuse of office and power.

And I am not sure what you have read so far that makes a senior e9 sound like not the brightest bulb in the marquee?

It sounds like an elitist attack on those who serve our country in the military.

by Anonymousreply 38February 23, 2024 3:53 PM

[quote]And I am not sure what you have read so far that makes a senior e9 sound like not the brightest bulb in the marquee?

Poverty of language (watch new story), for starters.

by Anonymousreply 39February 23, 2024 4:05 PM

R31

42 different people so far and counting who allege abuse

48 counts or charges of sexual contact. 5 counts of indecent looking. If true he did a lot more touching than looking.

If this is born out by the investigations this guy is screwed, will do time, and lose his license. If true.

Nothing like congressional interest to get everyone’s attention

by Anonymousreply 40February 23, 2024 4:16 PM

My guess they were tinymeats and the doc couldn't disguise his disappointment and bemusement. Sizemeats love to get naked.

by Anonymousreply 41February 23, 2024 4:29 PM

If he was looking, then chances are he was also recording.

The investigators should search his house for video footage.

I'll bet there is some.

by Anonymousreply 42February 23, 2024 4:32 PM

[quote] The doc is cute, so I wouldn't have minded.

He was going after hot guys.

He wouldn't be chasing after you to lift up your caftan and find....what? Evidence of a yeast infection and week old Entenmann's crumbs.

by Anonymousreply 43February 23, 2024 5:50 PM

In this pic he's goofy looking.

Do you speak from experience, R42?

by Anonymousreply 46February 23, 2024 6:09 PM

What he did was wrong, but....

As with every situation, if any of these men felt he was doing something inappropriate, they should have zipped up their pants and walked out. But they didn't - they all stayed for his 'examination' - and that's not going to help them at all. There's something called free will : these guys decided to stay and let him do whatever he wanted on them. Trust me, his lawyers will question each guy why they stayed in his presence.

by Anonymousreply 47February 23, 2024 10:20 PM

That's what I'm wondering, R47.

All big, burly and tough military men who could easily have said no to Dr. Perv.

Yet they didn't.

Methinks they kind of liked it.

by Anonymousreply 48February 23, 2024 10:24 PM

R48 Exactly. And his lawyers are going to crucify them and make them admit they enjoyed this. There is NO reason that they stayed for this 'exam' - except for the fact that they were okay with it and enjoyed it.

That's why I think this will fall apart before it even goes to trial in October. Once these army men find out they will be questioned why they stayed, they're suddenly going to back out.

by Anonymousreply 49February 23, 2024 10:28 PM

r48 and r49 have obviously never been in the army.

by Anonymousreply 50February 23, 2024 10:33 PM

Some of them have been deployed to war-zones and this is what traumatizes them?

by Anonymousreply 51February 23, 2024 10:47 PM

Meaning, R50?

It’s DL. In no time some will be defending the dick grabbing man who abused his position of power, and blaming the many victims ,claiming they must have like it.

It’s an old story that goes back as long as the strong have taken advantage of their higher position or their strength to sexually abuse the weaker or the less powerful.

Men have been pulling this shit since forever.

by Anonymousreply 55February 24, 2024 10:23 AM

I wonder how many men actually played along with his sexual advances?

by Anonymousreply 56February 24, 2024 1:53 PM

It’s not as if the good doctor rammed his tongue up their anuses.

by Anonymousreply 57February 24, 2024 2:03 PM

[quote]It’s DL. In no time some will be defending the dick grabbing man who abused his position of power, and blaming the many victims ,claiming they must have like it.

I didn't see anyone defending the doctor (I certainly didn't in my posts above, and haven't seen anyone else do it, either). I didn't see any victim-blaming in the thread (no one said the guys showed up to their appointment with no clothes on except a jock-strap, so they were 'asking for it').

I presented what could very well be the defense of the doctors by his lawyers: why didn't these men walk out of the appointment ? They went to see him for a 'sore shoulder' or a 'sore arm' - they weren't there for life-or-death injuries. They could've left the appointment.

They weren't juveniles, these were grown-ass men. If they didn't leave the appointment, they could've at least said "no" to the doctor when he asked them to unzip, or when he started touching their dicks.

I'm certain this will be asked at length in the court case, and I'm curious what each answer will be.

by Anonymousreply 58February 24, 2024 2:07 PM

They could smell the stench of roadhouse whiskey on his breath.

And all that dirty touchin'.

And they liked it. They LIKED it!

A neat trick. You use the standard blame the victims language——why did she not scream, why did she not resist—-then you claim it’s not you saying this , but some defense lawyer who in the future will. Well played.

You, not you of course , but your alter ego bad lawyer self, no doubt could be saying the exact same thing about all those female athletes at MSU. Or in fact any situation where someone in charge who you are supposed to listen to and trust takes advantage of their situation to abuse the weak or the less powerful.

And at least your bad lawyer self would be getting paid for doing his job saying this shit. You are not being paid.

by Anonymousreply 60February 24, 2024 2:45 PM

R60 So there's nothing you disagree with in the post. You don't have any answers yourself to defend the victims. 'Nuff said. Thank you for playing.

“You know you have a big dick, right? I’ve seen many in my time. Have you ever tried to have another man suck on it? We’re better at it….”

by Anonymousreply 63February 24, 2024 2:53 PM

I had to be examined for an inguinal hernia last year, which involved removing everything from the waist down while the doctor felt all around my groin area and my testicles.

It was uncomfortable, but necessary.

I only wish he were cuter.

by Anonymousreply 64February 24, 2024 2:53 PM

R61

It’s not my job to defend the victims or defend the doctor as so many have here by saying the victims must have liked it. That is the standard language used by those that defend abusers and rapists. They wanted it. They liked it. They never said no.

I do know that if you had ever served in the military, we are playing pretend here, and a military doctor told you to take your pants off so he could exam you , you would have.

Two of the reasons why you never served I am guessing.

by Anonymousreply 68February 24, 2024 3:37 PM

On the bright side, he’ll probably enjoy prison life.

by Anonymousreply 69February 24, 2024 3:41 PM

R68, but my daddy did. Did you?

by Anonymousreply 70February 24, 2024 3:43 PM

The doctor is not only cloaked with the authority and legitimacy of his profession he’s also a superior officer for most of his patients. It’s completely unfair to expect the patients to walk out.

by Anonymousreply 71February 24, 2024 3:44 PM

R68, by the way. I seriously thought about it. But Don't Ask Don't Tell was very much alive when I was 18, and they were firing gay Arabic linguists when I was considering it.

It didn't seem like a feasible possibility at the time.

by Anonymousreply 72February 24, 2024 3:45 PM

Nobody walks out on a doctor. He walked out on them and dumped them. Suddenly they remembered they hadn't consented!

by Anonymousreply 73February 24, 2024 4:24 PM

R71

I bet not one of the 42 were commissioned officers. He was no doubt assaulting those of lower rank. I look forward to hearing how many years he gets in prison for this. If the initial stories are correct this man is an absolute disgrace.

42 and counting? Also an addict not just an abuser.

by Anonymousreply 74February 24, 2024 4:43 PM

[quote] Two of the reasons why you never served I am guessing.

Or he just didn’t have to because he had a brain or more opportunities and lacked a desire to have access to a gun to shoot people.

“Serving in the US military is for suckers”

Donald J Trump

and all of those that agree with him.

by Anonymousreply 76February 24, 2024 7:24 PM

When I was in high school, I DREAMED of going to the doctor and having him give me an inappropriate exam.

Damn bastards were always 'professional.' Ugh.

by Anonymousreply 77March 11, 2024 4:29 AM

Lol, same R77. Life is so random sometimes. It almost elicits FOMO when you hear about people having risky sexual encounters that you’ve only dreamed about.

by Anonymousreply 78March 11, 2024 4:40 AM

In the military there's a culture and expectation of obeying orders right? There's an obvious power imbalance here that he took advantage of. It would be bold for a soldier to refuse what he wanted to do or to walk out.
