I used to love her when she was a daisy-in-the-hair-wearing, Nineties hippie, showing up occasionally to flash Dave Letterman or date a hygienically-challenged grunge rocker. But a little of Drew goes a loooong way, and five days a week is just too much. When everything is AMAZING and JOYFUL and LIFE-GIVING, nothing is.

They should do a modern Facts of Life with them all living together again due to financial reasons - and loneliness - a similar setup to Golden Girls.

They're in the late 50s. If TV is going to constantly do reboots, they may as well do one I'd actually find moderately entertaining enough to watch a few episodes.

I can definitely see how Drew could be considered annoying but then she goes on as she did in this interview and clearly articulates the importance of the FOL for her growing up in a non-traditional family and demonstrates that she's not nearly as dumb as you might suspect...

I know it might be a pipe dream, but I agree with others who would love to see these women reunite in a series. Kim can always make guest appearances if she is too busy to commit full time.

Nancy McKeon looked great - looks like she has aged without much 'cosmetic help'. Lisa Whelchel also looks fantastic - she's the oldest of the girls, as she will be 61 in a few months.

I first suggested a Golden Girls reboot with these women up in my original reply (R8). No need for a Sophia character - just bring these three back under one roof, maybe have Kim Fields make a guest appearance every now and then (a little of her goes a long way). These three still 'got it' - I'd tune in each week. Or do it on Netflix - try 6 or 7 episodes.

For show reunions, the general rule #1 is you can get more $$$ later if it's not the complete cast doing the "reunion".

Lisa was also on a season of Survivor and really had the audience behind her. People wanted her to come back for an all star season, not sure if she wanted to though. The show is quite grueling for older people.

Lisa was terrific on Survivor. A good player whom most of the other players really liked.

I went into it expecting not to like her but really did. It seemed like she was there for the adventure and to challenge herself vs seeking to rekindle fame.

Tootie WAS that show for the most part, particularly in the early seasons. She and Mrs. Garrett are the characters people instantly think of when they think of TFOL.

Chip Fields and her daughter Kim left NY for LA when Kim was a kid. They hit the ground running, often walking to auditions. Chip got work and so did Kim, but it wasn't always easy. Kim has often told the story of going to the Mrs. Butterworth's audition, seeing a young Janet Jackson there (Janet was also auditioning) and being intimidated. Chip pulled Kim aside and gave her a pep talk, telling her not to ever be intimidated by anyone. Kim, as history shows, obviously won the part. When she auditioned for FOL, she was too young for the role and didn't know how to skate. Despite that, Chip told the producers that she could skate, and she went on to learn how in a short amount of time. The skates also boosted her height, making her appear older than she was.

I thought I had posted earlier... years ago Lisa and Kim starred in a TV movie (I think it was Hallmark). They were quite good, the movie was the usual m'eh.

It got me thinking that Lisa or any of the four could easily "star" in a Hallmark series and the other actresses could be guest stars or the BFF. Hell, make it a murder mystery show (everything else is).

Lisa could be an advice columnist who gets involved in a murder because...

Mindy could be a bookstore owner who gets involved in a murder because...
