Kathy Griffin Begs People To Buy Tour Tickets—'Not Selling Well'

The Billy Eichner method is not a good idea, love.

Eichner didn't beg; he bullied and browbeat. Still not a good look.

"This tour is going to be what gets me through" = "if I kill myself, it's your fault."

This is also the now-right-wing, Trumper rag Newsweek reporting, hence the cuntery.

She's no longer funny. "Her gays" are loyal...until they're not.

Newsweek is a conservative pus-filled bag of feces.

What a sad state of affairs.

There was a time where she was an instant sell-out

I think she’s got plenty to be funny about. I’d want to see her just for her take on the bald wife of the Fresh Prince alone. There’s so much elitist conceit ripe for a takedown from someone who’s no longer even on the D List. She’d be a riot.

That’s Borderline Personality Disorder, which she has.

The husband that she dumped again was responsible for the success of her last tour. This tour was always going to be a harder sell after years out of the spotlight. She needs press to market the tour but she needs to come across somewhat sane, likeable and fun. Her press has been limited to a few podcast appearances and she seems totally unstable in all of them.

I checked ticketmaster and it looks like the balcony is blocked off in several venues. In those venues, the floor looks about 60% sold. She sold pretty well on the coasts though. She’s almost sold out in a few places. It’s not a total disaster but she’s really struggling in the middle of the country.

Bizarre choice of venues IMHO.

They have Madonna, Janet and Kathy tickets at Dollar tree now. Right next to the gift cards.

I don’t see Laughlin on the list. I’m very displeased.
