Nancy Mace has had 100% staff turnover since Nov. 1
Nine staff gone in three months.
What is it about elected Republican women? She was slightly more stealth with her craziness than MTG and Boebert, but plenty more abusive. Ol' battle ax Nance makes Amy Klobuchar seem angelic.
[QUOTE]Another senior staffer recalled how Mace called them close to midnight on Christmas Eve and demanded to know why she wasn’t getting on TV more during the holiday week.
[QUOTE]"If she needed us, we had to answer within eight minutes,” this staffer said, clarifying that the eight minute timeframe was actually a “rule.”
[QUOTE]"All this is why pretty much every staffer and fellow member on the Hill thinks she’s a joke,” this ex-employee said. “Also a big reason why she’s only able to hire former George Santos staffers right now.”
[QUOTE]Mace’s propensity to ensure everyone was working all the time. Even on Good Friday, when some staff just wanted to take an hour off to go to Mass in the late afternoon, Mace wouldn’t have it, two former senior staffers said. (The House was adjourned at the time.)
Plenty more insanity at link. I didn't get a subscription wall.

Kill the witch!!! Kevin McCarthy is out to get her, implies she's mentally ill. She is not long for her district. So in the span of a year she'll have lost her fiancé, her house, her staff, and probably her seat. I wonder what her relationship with her kids is like. 🤔
[QUOTE]Shamelessness has become Mace's brand. That is normally not a problem for a MAGA politician, but it may be a problem in her district. Now Kevin McCarthy, whose fundraising prowess is legendary, has made it his personal mission to take her out. Mace complained two weeks ago on Newsmax that McCarthy was being "a bitter mean girl on a revenge tour." McCarthy later responded that Mace needed to "seek help," implying that she may have psychiatric issues that need to be treated.
[QUOTE]"Guess what, I heard the disgraced former Speaker was talking a lot of smack this week and said that I need help. Well, guess what. I do need help. I need your help to raise $1, $5, $10, $100 for my campaign to hit back against the establishment ... to hit back against people like McCarthy. He put our majority at risk. He lied to the American people. He couldn't even hold his Speakership because he's a loser. So yeah, Kevin, I need help to raise money so I can hit back at your hand-picked opponent who's now your puppet."

Damn, I know I'm reviving an old thread, but watching her floundering around on This Week with George was just embarrassing. Everything apparently comes down to "I was a rape victim so nobody is ever allowed to ask my why I endorse a rapist for president." Fuck that noise, and get your shit together, bitch. You have it exactly backwards. You're shaming yourself and every rape victim by claiming that Trump being a rapist who defames his victim is just no big deal.

OP here. This is the first time I've heard about Mace’s rape. It makes her attendance at South Carolina's Citadel Military Academy as one of the first females in a class all the more puzzling.
She endured a rape at 16 and went to a Southern bastion of male testosterone, dominance, and no mercy misogyny?
Nancy Mace is not well. Remember her complaint about Antifa vandalizing her home after she was elected? The "vandalism" consisted of spray painted nonsense verbiage on the sidewalk in front of the house in Mace's own handwriting.
She is not well.

I doubt that she would have done this, but Nancy could have taken notes from Gretchen Whitmer about how to talk about the subject of rape and being a rape victim. Years ago, when Whitmer was a state senator in Michigan, she talked about how she was raped in college around the time there was a controversial bill in MI that would require women to buy an insurance rider to cover abortion care. Whitmer doesn't pull the shit Nancy does when the subject of rape comes up.

[QUOTE]Everything described in this article &framed as nefarious by Mace is common practice in a Congressional office: using an autopen to sign for the Member, budgeting smartly so you can return $ from your MRA to Treasury, staff having access to your calendars
Which the DM points out. I wonder if she thought going with a foreign publication with shitty editorial standards meant that they wouldn't investigate her claims. The commenters aren't having it.
Maybe former staffers will sue for defamation. Seems like it's become a more popular tool to deal with serial liars as Kari Lake and Sarah Huckabeast's right-hand man have recently found out.

I’d like to respond to a few complaints @NancyMace has about her departed staff:
1) “they failed to spend all the money in the budget.” This is common, especially in new offices. Money unspent is returned to taxpayer, she’s upset about that. 2). “Hacked her phone.” Nope. Every congressman has staff with access to their calendar. Necessary. She knows that. 3). “Signed my name without asking.” Again this is common.
Finally, when your entire staff quits then you are the problem. Nobody like to be out of a job, yet these staffers preferred that to working for her.
It’s you Nancy
