Barbie?

Frank Capra trashing Donna Reed? James Cameron calling Kate Winslet fat?

R2 this isn’t a back in the day blind. This is a current blind. Keep up.
It’s Matthew Vaughn blaming Bryce Dallas Howard for the failure of Argyle

r3, tell Pat and Vanna you'd like to buy a sense of humor.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 4, 2024 1:38 AM |
Definitely Argyle with Guy Ritchie and Bryce Dallas Howard. It's expected to make around $15 million for the weekend.

Even with the nepo factor, NO idea how Bryce Dallas Howard landed this or the Jurassic series.
“You know that chick everyone hated in The Help? Let’s get her!”
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 4, 2024 1:45 AM |
It would make a lot more sense if Bryce was trashing Vaughn.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 4, 2024 1:49 AM |
She's not a bad actress.
That said - and this is going to be offered knowing plenty of groans and comments will abound - but I thought her replacing the first actress in the Twilight series was a seriously unnecessary and classic nepo move.

Bryce would be wonderful in a TV sitcom but she's not movie material.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 4, 2024 1:53 AM |
It’s whoever directed the upcoming It Ends With Us trashing Blake Lively. She was apparently an unspeakable horror to deal with on her set. Always on her fucking phone and wouldn’t remove her Uggz until she was shown each shot by the DP beforehand. Her poor stupid stand-in had to show her where to sit and stand, too,

"It's the lead actress's fault!"
~ That stupid CGI cat from the preview that made me not want to see the movie
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 4, 2024 1:57 AM |
The female lead in Maestro? Or was that all Bradley’s fault?

r12 propose a great nominee

by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 4, 2024 2:01 AM |
Bryce is pretty generic.

Did Guy lay the blame for "Swept Away" on its leading lady too?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 4, 2024 2:03 AM |
Who directed Dune 2? Because I instantly thought of Florence Puke
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 4, 2024 2:06 AM |
^^^Totally gratuitous topless scenes in "Oppenheimer."
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 4, 2024 2:18 AM |
🎶 who’s that lady, lovely lady….
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 4, 2024 2:23 AM |
Matthew Vaughn is not A list.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 4, 2024 2:24 AM |
It sounds like cunty David O’Russell talking about Robbie in Amsterdam.
Or was it Chazelle talking about her in ‘ Babylon’.?
Or maybe the ‘Pain Hustlers’ director talking about Emily Cunt?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 4, 2024 2:27 AM |
R16 the leading lady in that is movie killer.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 4, 2024 2:28 AM |
Like it or not, he is, A20.
He’s directing the third Deadpool film that’s allegedly going to “save Marvel.”

Bryce does bug me sometimes, but she did deliver one of the all-time great performances anywhere, in the “Nosedive” episode of Black Mirror.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 4, 2024 2:32 AM |
Bryce is genuinely talented, but her weight gain in recent years has significantly changed her career. She needs to move to character roles--she is no longer a leading lady (if she ever was one).
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 4, 2024 4:45 AM |
R24 That is one of the best episodes. I hope they do a sequel in a future season.

[quote] I thought her replacing the first actress in the Twilight series was a seriously unnecessary and classic nepo move.
She only took over the role because the original actress had a scheduling conflict.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 4, 2024 5:18 AM |
Really, r27? I didn't see Rachel LeFevre starring in anything all that important.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 4, 2024 5:35 AM |
Bryce is one of the most talented nepo babies.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 4, 2024 5:38 AM |
Bryce has done a pretty decent job in directing a few episodes of Star Wars tv shows. She’s actually behind a few of the better episodes of The Mandalorian.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 4, 2024 8:15 AM |
Bradley Cooper leapt to my mind too, R12, precisely because everyone has said Mulligan is the only excellent thing about his movie.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 4, 2024 1:04 PM |
lol R27, the original actress playing the role BDH took over most certainly did not have a scheduling conflict with filming a minor role in one of the biggest movie franchises on the planet. She was fired. And she has barely worked since.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 4, 2024 1:53 PM |
Ridley Scott and Vanessa Kirby?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 4, 2024 2:52 PM |
R25 - Bryce is thinner now.
