The dude drives a Porsche and the victim is a homeless shopping cart person. Does that explain it for you?

by Anonymousreply 1January 27, 2024 3:21 PM

What a chad

by Anonymousreply 2January 27, 2024 3:23 PM

BDF.

R4 = La Keller

by Anonymousreply 5January 27, 2024 3:35 PM

90 days in jail for a hit a run that killed a man?????

How the fuck can that be?

His "cell" looks like a hunting lodge. This can't be serious.

by Anonymousreply 6January 27, 2024 3:36 PM

He's gay:

Terribly sad, op. The fiance of a US senator ran over a pedestrian, was turned loose by the cops. She ask for and got a replacement for the luxury car damaged by the impact of the collision from a "donation".

America is a sick place.

by Anonymousreply 8January 27, 2024 3:38 PM

He's killed before and he will kill again.

by Anonymousreply 9January 27, 2024 3:38 PM

He has that rich cunt's permatan.

by Anonymousreply 10January 27, 2024 3:39 PM

The Senator's fiance DEMANDED and received a replacement for the luxury car damaged by the impact of the collision from a "donation".

by Anonymousreply 11January 27, 2024 3:41 PM

What a fucking douchebag.

His piddling sentence would more appropriate as punishment for his atrocious eldergay ass workout TikTok video.

by Anonymousreply 12January 27, 2024 3:41 PM

One less desert zombie in Palm Springs.

by Anonymousreply 13January 27, 2024 3:43 PM

What R1 said.

by Anonymousreply 14January 27, 2024 3:50 PM

R7 His tik tok is absurd. Jacking his ass all up and putting that music track to it? Good Lord, I think that desert sun has fried his better judgement. He should be jailed for that video alone.

by Anonymousreply 15January 27, 2024 3:51 PM

Miss Chad cannot DO hard time, your honor!

by Anonymousreply 16January 27, 2024 3:55 PM

Did he blow the Judge, did the Judge fuck him?

It's a pretty light sentence for killing someone with your car? The victim has rights, but not in Palm Springs!!

Who does Chad know, or who are his friends? At least a 2yrs sentence for a DEATH-10 yrs. probation

by Anonymousreply 17January 27, 2024 4:01 PM

Oh, but this is obscene.

by Anonymousreply 18January 27, 2024 4:05 PM

Accidents happen? But when you walk away or drive away without any accountability, you deserve to jail time. The victim was homeless and has no recourse to sue the guy for civil damages. Maybe a homeless outreach can fucking sue Mr. Porsche.

by Anonymousreply 19January 27, 2024 4:06 PM

you deserve to go to jail.

by Anonymousreply 20January 27, 2024 4:09 PM

Thanks, Bruce, for reminding me that you got away with murder too?

by Anonymousreply 21January 27, 2024 4:12 PM

I'm familiar with this case. In fairness, the area where he hit the homeless man was under construction (they were burying a storm drain canal along the street where this happened), which had displaced an encampment of hundreds of homeless people wandering up and down the street, amassing in the shopping center lot where this happened, and it was a total mess (and in fact, the landlord of that shopping center bears some of the responsibility here for failing to plan for the construction, failing to work with the contractor who was doing the work, refused to deal with the homeless problem on their property and this was neither the first nor the last incident involving homeless people wandering in traffic on and near their property). There were barricades and Jersey-style barriers all along the area, and traffic moves at far too fast a clip on that road. The article mentions that he left "bars" at 2:00am, but note that it specifically does not mention nor even allege that he was drunk. And yes, the privilege of wealth exists in the Coachella Valley.

I'm surprised that the sentence is so light, but not shocked. And he did plead guilty to a felony, so it's pretty clear that the prosecutor and judge felt that this was a difficult case and it was in the public's interest to plea it out and move on.

by Anonymousreply 22January 27, 2024 4:18 PM

Don't understand why America has people living in the street

by Anonymousreply 23January 27, 2024 4:20 PM

They better not have anymore when I come over for the Olympics. I don't need to see that shit.

by Anonymousreply 24January 27, 2024 4:30 PM

Clearly the judge bred that obscenely fat ass.

by Anonymousreply 25January 27, 2024 4:35 PM

[quote]Don't understand why America has people living in the street

It's a complex problem — actually, three rolled into one — that can be summed up in one word: Reagan.

by Anonymousreply 26January 27, 2024 4:46 PM

[quote] note that it specifically does not mention nor even allege that he was drunk.

He took care of that by leaving the scene to sober up.

by Anonymousreply 27January 27, 2024 5:35 PM

R22, speaking of fairness, he smashed this man’s body with his car and drove off thinking of nothing but himself, not the man he had just injured.

Because of that, the man was left alone to die in agony by the side of a road.

If he had stopped and immediately called for an ambulance, the man might have survived.

by Anonymousreply 28January 27, 2024 5:39 PM

R21 = Chad Numnutz

by Anonymousreply 29January 27, 2024 5:43 PM

R22 Did he not leave the scene?

by Anonymousreply 30January 27, 2024 9:00 PM

You're all a bunch of haters. I'm enjoying every second of my life! Follow if you don't believe it.

Nobody will ever know, for sure, whether he was drunk. Why? Because he fled the scene.

by Anonymousreply 32January 27, 2024 9:13 PM

All signs point to YES.

by Anonymousreply 33January 27, 2024 9:21 PM

R22 thanks for that explanation for what appears to be the judge’s exercise of good judgment.

by Anonymousreply 34January 27, 2024 9:48 PM

His IG: tsmeth_e_chad ?!

That’s Palm Springs for ya

by Anonymousreply 35January 27, 2024 9:52 PM

A tranny and a methhead?

by Anonymousreply 36January 28, 2024 3:16 AM

Any hit and run should require prison time. That is the ultimate disrespect and narcissism.

by Anonymousreply 37January 28, 2024 3:41 AM

I thought a hit and run was felony?

by Anonymousreply 38January 28, 2024 3:42 AM

😮.

by Anonymousreply 39January 28, 2024 3:43 AM

Someone I know had to pay over 2K and have their license revoked for a year because they were found to be drunk when pulled over for a broken tail light.

This guy killed a person and left the scene and got a lighter sentence.
