I really liked her decades ago in "Empty Nest," and thought she had a real flair with comedy in that filmed-before-studio-audience sitcom genre. But it's understandable if her health and happiness meant more to her, resulting in her feeling the need to walk away from it.

TCM is airing her cute movie Just the Way You Are early Sunday morning featuring DL heartthrob Michael Ontkean.

That's actually a good movie. Haven't seen it in years. It also has some very good looking French actor in it.

In 2012, she ran in the Democratic primary for a U.S. Senate seat in Tennessee and lost. In 2018, she ran for state level office in TN for a state House rep seat and lost. Park was supposed to have a recurring role on "Reba," but I guess they went in a different direction because she was only in a few episodes the first season.

Kristy was adorable on Family but with a name like Buddy and all those boyish clothes and her boyish haircut and her jock tendencies, she was pretty much a little lez-let.

My best friend of 35 years is a lesbian who lives in LA. She hooked up with Kristy back in the day, and after the act, Kristy gave my friend options of what Kristy McNichol movie they should watch afterwards. My friend picked Little Darlings because she thought Tatum O’Neal was hot.
