I had a language teach in high school who used to threaten to defenestrate us. She was my favorite.

I lived around the corner from their building at the time, and remember the sound of her body hitting the rooftop on which she landed.

For some strange reason, I was thinking about this case just a few days ago - that and the tragic death of Eric Clapton's son.

Interesting that you mention the sound, R2. I lived two blocks from the WTC during 9/11 and saw most of it from my apartment window. I kept hearing what sounded like caps going off, caps like the kind you played with as a kid. Small explosions. When I figured out what it really was, I was stunned for a moment.
