So Greta Gerwig busted up Jennifer Jason Leigh's marriage?

JJL was pregnant with Noah Baumbach's child when he left her for Gerwig. I don't get Gerwig's appeal, she is below average looking and her personality is annoying.

Same as Billy Crudup and Mary-Louise Parker.

I always thought greta gerwig was like a concept and not an actual person you know like people just kept saying it like cuz it was funny kind of like pia zadora. Like their names I've heard or like Shalimar too you know I've heard these things over the years but I have no idea about any of them which is weird cuz I know a lot of really random weird things about all sorts of pop culture. I guess it's just one of those things that I just have a blind spot with certain people or just certain things that just for whatever reason.

Noah Baumbach and Jennifer Jason Leigh were together since 2005. Baumbach told media outlets he planned to be with Leigh for the rest of his life.

Then came Greenberg, which Baumbach and Leigh co-wrote and started filming in 2009. Gerwig costarred, which is how she and Baumbach met and apparently started fucking.

Oops! Leigh was pregnant at age 48 with her only child. She filed for divorce from Baumbach in 2010, when the baby was seven months old.

A woman's chance of becoming pregnant naturally at 48 is about 3%. So either it was a miracle baby, or Leigh completed successful IVF and Baumbach was immediately like, bye, I've got younger pussy waiting for me.

Leigh has been too classy to speak about the details, even after Baumbach's divorce movie Marriage Story.

I remember DL deservedly eviscerating Billy Crudup and Claire Danes when that happened. So glad his career has been shit. What an asshole.

He seems to be making a comeback now on Morning Show. I find that permanent smirk on his face repulsive.

I think Noah Baumbach traded up when he left JJL for Greta. Apart from being a younger woman Greta has had more of a creative input in his films. She is also a better actress. I am not a fan of JJL. I hate her lockjaw acting. She really inherited the worst aspects of her parent's styles. Neither were great actors, had charm nor were attractive. You really have to see Barbara Turner in her 1960s TV show appearances to appreciate how awful she was. And Morrow was like a 5th rate Brando.

I actually think Steven Spielberg decided that, considering how Morrow was killed, Jennifer would always have work. But we got the raw end of the deal. Ironically her performances for Baumbach are about the only ones of hers I can stomach. But even in Margot at the Wedding there is a plot point about how her husband has an affair with a younger woman. How's that for foreshadowing. Jennifer may have imagined she could be Mia Farrow to Baumbach's Woody Allen but she lacked Mia's range. And Baumbach is no Woody. But I still like his films.
