I tend to go off of how I’m feeling. A lot of my art is inspired by my relationships. Not just romantic, but friendships and family etc, also not necessarily ones that I’m in but ones that I’ve lost or have ended. I get inspiration from being in love, or heartbroken, or how people feel about me, and also conversations with my friends. Things that I’ve been through, things that I’ve felt, or things that have ended. I create my best art when I’m sad or heartbroken and I find myself taking time away from creating art when I’m in a new relationship and when things are good, or happy because that’s when I’m least inspired.

The same intimacy coordinator is still around and it helps that they won't have to hold back as much intimacy in S3. And for what it's worth, I think Alice put some of the show's style into Volume 5. A lot of the little touches between Nick and Charlie felt very Joe and Kit.

For the lack of Euros, I'm most concerned about Olivia. Obviously not in terms of Olivia's acting ability, but just the basic question of whether they were able to get her back without Euros directing. Any S4 anouncement pre S3 release can only happen if Netflix get another script writer and that will depend on the contract with Alice. She has sold the rights to the adaptation but she might preserve some rights to the story.

Her plans are not do anything until this summer, then start doing drawings in the autumn. If she where to do a script she probably could not start on that until some time in ‘25 and I don’t know when they could film it.

My guess is that S3 is the final season with an option for a sequel in some years time of N&C at university.

So it's not out of the question that they'll be able to write S4 scripts before they finish Volume 6 drawings. The show is its own story at this point, so not everything would depend on total accuracy to the comics.

Like others have said, there haven't been any vibes of panic or finality from Alice or the cast/crew, which could indicate confidence about a S4 renewal. But I agree that they might not be able to film S4 in 2024 while all of this is pending.

I don’t know Edvin but the likelihood that he’s using that term in line with queer theory, to let people know that he’s queer without labeling himself more specifically, seems pretty unlikely. Nothing he has said would suggest that, unlike Kit who was always communicating that he wasn’t straight even if most of us missed the signs.

I mean I don’t know or overly mind edvin’s sexuality. If he is queer, great. If he’s straight, he’s very thoughtful and deliberate about how he approaches a queer role and plays it excellently. But honestly the major ping for me early on, before I engaged much with the cast and saw other fruity shit, that made me say Kit was queer was how upset queerbaiting accusations made him. I’ve said on here before that Kit and Joe being extraordinarily hurt by the cyber bullying is completely understandable but unfortunately is total bait to trolls because they’re legitimately sick in the head. This doesn't just go for queer representation, but any type of representation you can think of. This is why people are countering Margot Robbie's "snub" as an actor with her talent being recognized as a producer for Barbie. Sometimes, acting isn't the only representation, though I agree that it feels very special whenever queer characters are played by queer actors.

I've seen people express something similar about Jewish characters on-screen: that if creators of a work are Jewish, they don't mind actors playing Jewish characters if they aren't Jewish.
