Say what you want about her (I hate her in interviews) but she ate this up and left no crumbs. Loved it!!!! The song is a bop.
Renee Rapp’s SNL performance was so fucking good!

Puke 🤮

Does it slap, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 21, 2024 4:30 PM |
That was terrible. What's with the low energy dancing and singing? It looks like she's half sedated.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 21, 2024 4:33 PM |
She’s the East Coast alternate to Billie Eillish
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 21, 2024 4:34 PM |
I agree OP. I think she’s great. Strong voice, funny, gay. Very enjoyable.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | January 21, 2024 4:41 PM |
Yes, she has a strong voice. Great vocals and a lot of presence.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | January 21, 2024 4:53 PM |
I love how the internet went nuts when McAdams showed up to introduce her.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 21, 2024 4:54 PM |
Renee Crapp
by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 21, 2024 5:05 PM |
R8 oh please. She was great!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 28, 2024 10:25 PM |
She was lousy. Also spends time with the THEMS. I boycott her.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 28, 2024 10:50 PM |
It was a BOP!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 28, 2024 10:53 PM |
Forgettable is 🥱
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 28, 2024 11:12 PM |
Fun!!! She's sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | January 28, 2024 11:24 PM |
She’s great. Very funny and her voice is fantastic.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 28, 2024 11:32 PM |
People who say her voice is fantastic and the song was a bop have had limited exposure to the types of music and vocals that are possible.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 28, 2024 11:39 PM |
She sucks. It's so sad to see young women today acting and dressing like porn stars, gyrating on stage and talk/singing their way through crappy songs.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 28, 2024 11:42 PM |
r15, since the exclamation and capital letters weren't enough clues for you, please let me clarify: I was parodying the Brooklyn Seacow by using the ridiculous slang term "bop."
by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 28, 2024 11:44 PM |
We’ve seen all of this before. She’s a Dua Lipa clone, who is not breaking any new territory.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 28, 2024 11:49 PM |
How is this a Dua Lipa clone?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 28, 2024 11:59 PM |
She got famous by playing Regina George in "Mean gGrls" on Broadway, and she's becoming even more famous playing the role in the current film. She's a bizarre choice because she's so curvy, which is not to say popular girls can;t be curvy, but one of the plot points of "Mean Girls" (in all its many forms) involves Cady getting revenge on Regina by tricking her into gaining weight by eating heavily caloric bars. This made sense when rachel McAdams, whchi is quite slender played Regina, but since Renee Rapp is quite zaftig to begin with it makes absolutely no sense that the other kids at school would find her unattractive for gaining more weight (and you can't even tell visually she has).

She was slimmer when on Broadway and she’s the breakout on The Sex Lives of College Girls.
She left after the last season. Shes bigger than the show now.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | January 29, 2024 12:04 AM |
R15 really? You think this is a shitty vocal performance from a 20 year old? Who would you recommend we expose ourselves to?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 29, 2024 12:42 AM |
She's fine, r22, but nothing amazing. Her technique is so weak at points, however, and her diction becomes so bad it's hard to understand what she's singing. At 20 she was on Broadway and those are the standards that she should be judged by. Just do a search for "female Broadway singers" and you'll find a whole raft of female singers to expose yourself to. Or try Karen Carpenter, Etta James, Dolly Parton. The problem for Renee is that she's a performer of her day, and today belting a song out is considered being a great, expressive singer, because there's no real music education anymore. The singing style is so aggressive today (as Renee is in the video at r20) that it loses nuance, tone, emotion. Does listening to the video at r22 move your soul?
The SNL performance was cringe.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 29, 2024 1:25 AM |
The only good thing about that "bop" is that she's singing about fucking women.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | January 29, 2024 1:35 AM |
r22, that performance is fine but there's such a weird trend for these girls to over-do vibrator and scream like they think that makes them a powerful singer. A powerful singer is one that can bring you to tears. In fact her voice is flat on a lot of those higher notes she's trying to hit (I have perfect pitch). You want to see a powerful performance watch this.
Brian gets how to move an audience and his singing is amazing without overdoing vibrato and hitting those powerful, emotional notes and also being able to bring his voice down to almost a whisper. He's amazing.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | January 29, 2024 1:38 AM |
Hahaha I meant, over do VIBRATO
by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 29, 2024 1:40 AM |
I don’t know who this person is. I guess I’m reaching that point in my old age
by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 29, 2024 1:42 AM |
She really is a talented writer and obviously a phenomenal singer.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | January 29, 2024 1:42 AM |
Lazy, angry, overweight dyke.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 29, 2024 1:43 AM |
I know she has a great voice, but on SNL, the first song at least, she sounded like she was singing in some foreign language. I could only make out a fraction of the whisper-coos she was singing. ENUNCIATE, girl.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | January 29, 2024 1:57 AM |
Yes, r28, she's better than most today. But that song's almost as boring as that other talented writer and phenomenal singer, Adele.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | January 29, 2024 1:59 AM |
Screaming is NOT “singing”, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | January 29, 2024 2:05 AM |
Where does she scream in that?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | January 29, 2024 2:09 AM |
R33 if you don’t hear, I don’t know what to tell you, you’re obviously tone deaf.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 29, 2024 2:10 AM |
R33 she screams in the other performances and whisper coo and talks her way through the first one
by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 29, 2024 2:12 AM |
R22 is fucking atrocious!
by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 29, 2024 2:12 AM |
Great singers pull you in to their songs and make you feel the song as if they were singing for you or about you.
Mediocre singers sing AT you which is what this girl is doing. It's also why I hate any music that has any type of rap in it. There's no soul in speaking iambic pentameter into a microphone, no matter how much staccato you try to put into the "lyrics." I mean, it's hard to feel anything when you're being screamed at or listening to some idiot speak to a rhythm.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | January 29, 2024 2:17 AM |
R37 it’s a matter of opinion. Get a grip.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | January 29, 2024 2:28 AM |
Photo. She hangs out with Fake Woman Dylan Mulvaney. Does she also think children should be taking puberty blockers? Screw this bitch.
