R6 Yes! I loved Chryssy and his slam poetry. There was a poster here who called him stuff like, "our Hanoi hyacinth" and made us all laugh. I didn't mind him, even Talusan was tolerable, he posted here a few times and then took our posts and posted them on some fucking living art project or something he was doing. We called him Megadeth Talisman. Ah the good old days when we could all joke around. And I assume his friends still don't get laid. Alok is the worst one, I'm impressed, every single thing about him is perfectly crafted an intended to be as much of an insufferable prick as humanly possible.

I remember when Chrissy ranted and raved about constantly being "misgendered" over the phone. Bitch was so delusional he didn't realize he had the voice of a truck driver who smoked two packs a day and not some feminine lady voice.

I remember we had words with Talusan about the word "cis" being a slur. Janet Mock (as in mocking women) had been throwing that term around like the slur that it is, and Talusan acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. Sigh, at least he was reasonable, I miss people like him now that we have the fucking Buffalo Grill types. You know him, the one who takes his tiny white dog to restaurants and tries to get lowly staff people fired for not calling him "ma'am".

It's often forgotten that Meredith was one of the first in-your-face angry trannies to get national attention ten years ago when she took to wearing a hat she had knitted around Cornell that said "So you lost your dick?" This is my one and only Alok story, which I've told on here before:

Around the time Alok came onto the scene (2015? 2016?) I had to do teaching observations of grad students in my department (humanities). One of the classes I observed was held in an engineering building (classroom space at the university is at a premium and they schedule classes wherever they can).

Anyway, the kid teaching the class was a recent SLAC graduate and earnest enough. He was teaching a unit on "identity" and the day that I observed him, showed his class a few Alok videos.

To each his own ... but the funniest thing was when an engineering professor walked by, paused (the classroom door was open), and watched three seconds of the Alok video with a huge "WTF???" expression on his face before scurrying away to the safety of his engineering lecture.

Even I was a little bit embarrassed for the humanities in that moment.
