Actually, she is playing it very smart. By being slapped by the judge constantly will just highlight Trump's argument that he cannot be given a fair trial and that the judge and, indeed, the entire justice system is corrupt. This will enrage the base and get out the vote and, especially, the donations. When you have no defense, make a spectacle of the proceedings and play the martyr.

Well, she’s being slapped for errors in procedure mostly. It’s not like evidence has been ruled inadmissible or something like that. All the judge’s criticisms are doing is revealing her lack of experience with trial court. I really don’t think it gives the impression that trump is being treated unfairly.
