Alessandro Borghi does a fantastic job, but it's less about Rocco's career and more about his relationship with his family; in particular his half-brother Tomasso and his wife Lucia - both characters created for the series. He did have an older half-brother who he followed to Paris, but that's about where the similarities stop.
