The actor, 53, surprised fans Sunday night when he arrived at the Golden Globes 2024 red carpet sporting a head full of gray hair.
As Damon took to the stage to present the award for Best Director for a Motion Picture, reuniting with longtime pal and collaborator Ben Affleck, fans shared their thoughts on social media.
“Matt Damon silver fox era kinda incoming…” wrote one Twitter user, while another joked “Move over [George] Clooney!"

He basically looks the same. Blonds can go grey with almost no notice (unless they go straight whiyr, and even then, it’s a subtle change).
I color my what-was-once almost black hair grey because it’s most all white. I don’t want black or even dark brown hair. I want grey hair like men my age usually have. I don’t want to look 25, want to look 50. With white hair I look like a GOT whitelwalker. Grey is an easy compromise.

I caught The Talented Mr Ripley on cable last week. I had forgotten what an excellent movie it is and how adorably geeky yet sexy Matt was. Even Paltrow was good and Jude Law was sizzling back then. Plus young Cate Blanchett.
