But I felt SO angry. She knew I was.

She let me know, both through her calm, firm demeanor and body language, that, in no uncertain terms, she wasn't going to take shit off of me.

That was the only time I ever came close to getting out of line.

When I fly, I have always made it a point to behave as though I will ask "How high?" if any airline and/or airport staff give me a direction.

Their parents need their medication but can’t get it this month because there’s a shortage. The pharmaceutical corporations have been making billions in profit every year but they don’t build new manufacturing plants and hire more workers to keep up with new demands. Instead, they close manufacturing plants, take the profits and plow them back into company shares making their profits grow but their output shrinks.

People don’t understand why this is happening and why they can’t make it stop. Why is nobody doing something about this lopsided life situation? The media is run by billionaires and they are busy pursuing personal vendettas, throwing their money around to get people cancelled and fired and refusing to pay people properly, while the same billionaires rant about freedom and how nobody wants to work.

Then one day these frustrated people are traveling and something goes wrong. They’ve had a drink. They took a Dramamine or an ambien. Or both. And maybe some weed and Special K.

And it’s just the straw that breaks their brains. They go nuts. They don’t know who or what to blame for how everything stopped working the way it used to. Something obviously happened before the husband's phone camera started rolling; what did he do to her? And think about the fact that he posted it on You Tube. To humiliate and degrade her.

I speculated that the husband, who I concluded (correctly, I think) to be the person recording, might have done something that caused or contributed to the wife's meltdown. Maybe she is mentally ill. We just don't know.

In short, what I see in R53's clip--a woman appearing to have a kind of full-scale mental breakdown--is very, very different in character from the entitled, bullshit behavior in OP's clip. Not all meltdowns spring from entitled, bougie women.

There’s also a difference being filmed having a meltdown in a public place versus an encounter with your intimate partner. Very few people handle breakups well and there’s no reason they should be filmed during or immediately after one. I didn’t watch the whole video at R53 because it felt completely wrong once I saw what it was, but I’m not sure what the point was other than to distress her further. He said at one point he was going to use it in court, but I don’t see why a judge would care. Plus any man who would do that is no prize himself, so who knows what preceded this video.
