She loves to exaggerate things to make herself look like a poor, victimized woman. And yes, the way in which the Trump administration reacted to that tasteless photo was ridiculous but, then again, would she have dared to do the same with Clinton or Obama? She ought to have understood that doing that was a mistake, especially with someone as thin-skinned as Dump and in such a volatile political climate. In short, she's an idiot.

It isn't any wonder she was best friends with that other source of endless bitterness, vitriol and self-pity known as Joan Rivers.

I've had friends like her. Impossible to maintain that kind of friendship. Drama at every turn. She can probably be a good friend, but the price is too high.

In this case yes she was all alone. Those celebs were not rallying around their friend Kathy but were simply using her as a mechanism against Trump. Before or since when did that group ever really befriend Kathy.

I love interviews with her; she's so bright, funny and practical. But she does seem Type-A, OCD and high maintenance. They probably just wanted to start over and let go of the 'ick' of the past few years.

I’m not sure it was “THE HEAD” that started her decline. D-List Kathy was just an Irish Catholic girl who gave showbiz a shot and to everyone’s shock it worked out pretty well. The D List with her house in the Hollywood hills beat the payroll assistant she was otherwise destined to become. She was hard to dislike as a person even if her comedy was not your thing.

That Kathy would have said no to taking the head photo. That Kathy would never weep and scream in a press conference and say that anyone “broke” her.

Soon after the photo incident she was in court fighting with her neighbor. She was living in a soulless Bel Air McMansion having drag out Jerry Springer level fights with the neighbor. This is pure conjecture, but I think he probably expressed displeasure at her wanting to hang out with her “girls” all the time and be a part of this and that and never home, and this rubbed her the wrong way. To me, she’s like a fat person who loses a lot a weight, their world changes with their new positive attention and they leave their old life behind.

But in her case it was the cancer and she has been relishing the attention/sympathy it brought her and she surrounds herself with those people who reached out and doesn’t want to give that up. She just wants to have sleep overs so to speak all the time.
