I fly all the time and I never have a problem. It's not that hard. Arrive on time, wear clean socks, familiarize yourself with what's expected at TSA and prepare yourself and your belongings accordingly. Double-check that youre at the right gate,. Accept the fact that your carry-on might need to be checked. Wait your turn to board and exit the plane, keeping in mind that hurrying won't make the trip any shorter.

I am not a person of profound intelligence or zen-like calm, but the inconveniences of flying are largely predictable and definitely manageable, with the wild card being other passengers. Its always amazing to me to watch seemingly competent adults regress to an infantile state of confusion when told to empty their pockets.
