I fucking love this guy! Jamie is great but Mr. G is my favorite, along with Jen the Asian skater kid's mom. Some saint put all the Mr. G snippets together and made a movie of him. I want to marry whoever did it.

I think his Ja'mie character really depicts the vapidity of wanna be influencer culture so well. No morals, anything for likes, judgmental, user types are de riguer in this subculture.

I know two Australians who have worked with Chris Lilley and both separately said he is a complete asshole. Total frat boy douche energy and thinks he’s a genius.

They were horrified that I liked his shows. What can I say? I found Mr. G very funny. And loved Ja’mie.

I don't get the love for this guy. I've watched a couple of his shows on HBO and sat there stone faced. He must have been blowing someone at the network to get as many chances as he has.

r5 it seems like offensive Australian humor that ran its course. He’s never crossed over - except when HBO ran his stuff, he got a cult following outside Australia. And he hasn’t really done much since pre-covid except for the podcast.

The fact that he was able to appear in black face as a rapper for an entire series and then do a show where he played a dumb boy from Tonga (again darkening his skin) is crazy.

I love him as Ja'mie. The body language, facial expressions, the voice, the wig, all jarring with his made-up man face is hilarious.

I also thought it was funny in the Bad Boys show when when one of the guys would indulge in "sneaky nuts" by exposing his balls in group photos.

S'Mouse is the greatest rapper of our time.

I'm surprised hes developed the Ja'mie character into someone frequently talking farts and about how her farts "talk to her". That's, um, different. Definitely someone who peaked in high school, which would be true for a lot of influencers.
