Water polo players are usually hot too. I played it at University and the suits we wore were different to diving speedos - they were longer at the sides - and really stick to you. Not many people are aware of how aggressive water polo can be - as it's all underwater. If the suits weren't tight, some of the players would tear them off you. Fun times.

R323, I bought a couple of water polo racers a few years ago. I wear Speedos, Budgy Smugglers, and Noodle Bagz (great San Diego small business), when I swim laps. The were made by a company called Zumo. They recommended going up one size (I usually wear a medium). The suits really cling to your body, kinda smashing your package in. The stitching is really sturdier and the material heavier that your run-of-the mill Speedo..

I wonder if the racers divers wear have extra padding to protect their junk, if they're hitting the water at such speeds.

I've only watched the 3 meter springboard so far.....but there is a lot of underwater butt crack and the cameras follow the divers around a lot. We see them avoiding each other and pulling on their suits a lot....and going up and down the steps to the board.
