Scott Manley- 1960s Nude Model and Vintage Beefcake
Scott Manley was one of photographer (and lowkey pornographer) Walter Kundzicz’s discoveries in the 1960s (along with guys like Joe Cannoli and Rod Bauer). From the start he was very comfortable being naked and had fun with it, and was comfortable being nude with other men (but was not willing to do gay sex or anything but willing to do homoerotic material like wrestle with another man naked), unlike his colleague Rod Bauer who was very uncomfortable being nude and even moreso being with other men nude. It just came naturally to Scott and he enjoyed being photographed naked during a time it could have ruined his life.
He was a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed, 6’2 Adonis who was a star athlete in school. He was a star wrestler in school as well as a swimmer, and track and field star. He held the record for fastest long-distance running in his district, and credited running for his beautifully toned legs, thighs and ass. He credited his arm and back muscle tone to his years of swimming.
Scott was working as a beach lifeguard when his close friend and school wrestling mate Rod Bauer brought photographer Walter Kundzicz to meet him. Walter scouted wrestling champion Rod Bauer on the night he became state champion in his weight class, offering him the opportunity to simply model. Rod quickly agreed and to be a model as he could use the money and told Walter he should check out his close friend Scott, who Rod felt would make a great model. He brought Walter to meet Scott while he was working on the beach and Walter took one look at Scott and immediately agreed with Rod, that was a MODEL. He took a photo of Scott on the spot and knew that he was a money maker.
Walter was enamored by Scott’s beautiful face and body and tall stature. He caught the eye of Walter immediately, when Walter approached him with an offer to do “modeling” for him at Champion Studio. They exchanged contacts and the rest is history, with Scott becoming a Physique model turned full on nude model in the late 1960s. He did it briefly before leaving it behind, as many of them did, including his good friend who introduced Scott and Walter, Rod. Scott quickly became one of the most popular models in the beefcake world at the time.

R21 different model for a different photographer and a completely different era. This wasn’t a 1940s and 1950s physique model. These were taken in 1968/1969, heading into the 1970s. Times had changed a lot in those years from the fucking 1940s.
Nudity was no longer illegal by this time in most of the country, unlike those who came before them.
Save the faux outrage for the right time periods.

I’m pretty sure OP stated that this guy was comfortable with the nudity and being naked with others and doing homoerotic photography/video but not gay sex. This was a very different time than the beefcake models of the 40s, where those nudes couldn’t be sold out and open in most of the country.

Tall blonde and hot. I wonder what became of him. I know Rod Bauer and him went to school together and Bauer was recruited by the photographer Walter first and Bauer put word in for Manley. Bauer was the photographer’s favorite though. He had a huge thing for sweet and humble Bauer and was supposedly sad when he walked away from the nude modeling for good. Bauer quit when he graduated from college and wanted to start his career as a teacher.

Their first nude photoshoot was together. Bauer supposedly always had a hard time doing the shoots but needed the money for college and was always uncomfortable being nude but Manley was the opposite, he was very comfortable being nude and shooting with other men.
