In all likelihood, the fact that they are on JustJared means they are authorized. If they were authorized, it’s because Halls allowed it. He called the pap. The intention is to reframe the narrative because right now, the narrative ball was in Bomer’s court. He and Bailey played lovers in an eight hour series. They look good together. The divorce is announced, the gossip sites will just post photos of Bomer and Bailey together and people will say, “It was meant to be.” He needs to reframe that. He wants it to be “Selfish aging prettyboy abandons family.”

There is a reason why this looks like this.

And the reason is that Bailey finds him strange. Not bad strange, but good strange. Like Mr Tumnus meeting Lucy underneath the lamppost in the snow. Obviously these two have had a thing for a while, but the strangeness keeps it exciting and new.

The reason for Bailey’s oddly assertive body language is simple. The nonverbal cues are not being met, so he is amplifying them. If there is a nonverbal cue for “Hello, how are you,” then Bomer is answering it with whale sounds.

Split second moment but there is a part of the video where they are looking at each other but then Bomer as he starts to talk, averts his gaze. You can actually see Bailey’s head jerk forward as he tries to recatch it. This isn’t being smitten; he finds him FASCINATING. He wants nothing more than to open his head and look inside.

Bomer seems way too invested in his family and has that family-oriented religious upbringing. I cannot imagine him leaving his husband and the kids - teenagers or not. Plus he is almost 50. He’s not 25. He seems to have a very nice life.

They undoubtedly have insane chemistry, that's what sold the series. They spent time naked, playing star crossed lovers in a tragic romance. They are actors for godsakes. I have had strong chemistry with one or two friends over the years, huggy, touchy, very sort of plummy feelings. Never crossed the line, but anyone looking from the outside might have thought different.

Halls is wise to what is going on, he also knows that Bomer is getting a bit older, and now is the time to use his beauty. Having JB hanging on his every word and petting him just helps.
