Is anyone else on DL a fan? "Cold Justice" is one of my favorite true crime/cold case shows, and a large part of it is because she seems to give it a lot of her heart while trying to solve these years (and sometimes decades)-old murders. She comes across as a good-hearted Texas girl but is also very direct and doesn't mince words. I like the dynamic between her and her fellow investigators Tonya Rider, as well as Steve Spingola (same with Yolanda McClary, who is no longer on the show). I started watching her new series "Prosecuting Evil" and am slowly warming to it, though it is missing the one-on-one "live" interaction component—it's basically just her and other investigators recounting crimes they solved through interview segments.
I think she used to refer to children as "babies" even when they weren't infants. In every fucking episode.

She’s not. She’s had multiple accusations of prosecutorial misconduct.

I love this show and never can find a way to stream it. I knew a woman who was murdered in Fredericksburg TX. Her case was never solved. It involved her being bludgeoned, then her house being burned down with the body in it. All at 3pm in afternoon. She was a caterer and fairly well known in town. There were so many rumors about who did it. I heard Cold Justice approached the Fredericksburg PD to pursue the case, but the PD refused. I felt sure Kelly could solve it.

R2 is right. Partner used to know her well.
She’s a lot of fun. But ethically horrible.

I get too much of a Nancy Grace vibe from her to ever be able to enjoy her.

I just watched the episode of Prosecuting Evil that profiled the Susan Wright case, the psycho bimbo who tied up her husband and brutally stabbed him to death. During the trial, Siegler had police piece the actual bed frame that he died on together in the courtroom and demonstrated how he was killed. The footage of it is riveting (especially Susan's reaction to seeing it played through), and apparently controversial as a number of her peers felt she had pushed the envelope too far—not really a sentiment I get on board with. I think there is power in demonstrating something like that in person to a jury.
