Oh Dear. There are a few commercials I am loving this Holiday Season!

I had no idea the seedy looking Santa in the Capitol One credit card commercial was John Travolta. I hadn’t see the whole ad - only the truncated version where he’s walking to the song and buys a cookie. But it turns out the whole ad has him disco dance and say “What’s in your wallet?”at the end. And that’s Donna Pescow behind the counter in the shoe store.

Almost 35 years they’ve been showing the Hershey’s bells We Wish You a Merry Christmas ad and I never realized until tonight that the silver bell is the conductor, it’s not playing .

Yes, I have ADHD.

That ad when the little Spanish girl goes outside on Christmas because it’s snowing outside…in what appears to be a desert environment. But it’s not snow,. A nearby house is on fire and the “snow” is ash. “Disasters don’t take a break for the holidays.”

Was not expecting that.
