According to GEVI he never worked with Hank Hightower. The vast majority of Eric's work was in the 80s. He was leaving the business as Hank Hightower was coming into the business in the early - mid 90s.

Here's a tribute wall to Ron Liter/Eric Manchester. If he was 1/10th as nice as the tributes written he must have been some good man. I gather at least some of his friends knew of his gay porn past as one tribute has a childhood photo along with a G rated photo taken from one of his porn videos. And there's a video of him showing the little daughter of a friend of his how to use a carpet shampooer. It's nice to know he had people who loved and cared for him. That says a lot about him. So many from the porn world of his era either ended up in bad times as they got older, or dead before they even had the chance to get older.

I've also learned that the OP photo was from his days working as a bartender at 'Aunt Charlies' in San Francisco.
